Love your perspective and the personal growth you've had around this as a young woman. I'm 52 and have had my hair all sorts of lengths, colors and styles. I was always looking for the "ONE" hair style that would give me all the confidence I wanted and would make me feel beautiful. I was always told growing up that women should have long hair, that made you beautiful. But my hair texture never looked good long and I wasted so much mental and physical energy and time on trying to get it that way. I finally got a buzz cut last year and I've never felt more free, confident and beautiful. SO happy that you are getting this message out there! Well done!

You are so beautiful inside and out !! I absolutely loved your tutorial ! This is the 5th time buzzing my hair. I’ll be 64 this year and always had short hair !! I was always told I looked better in shorter hair than long. I have thick hair and have had it spiked for years, always got a lot of compliments, but I really enjoy my buzz cut. It’s so easy and carefree !! People either love it or hate it. They mostly hate it 😮. Too bad. My husband loves my hair anyway, as long as it makes me happy. My 32 year old triplets hate it. They’re all girls. Figures…..they all have long hair.😊. You know, when you get to my age, you really don’t care what people think.🤔. Anyway, your hair is absolutely adorable on you ❤ You have such a beautiful face 😊. People like us make this world 🌎 more interesting !!!!!!😍

Very good words and perfect explanation. I'm also a buzzcut girl since so many years and I feel great and clean. There are so many different opinions but as you said, it's important that you don't care about people's opinions and you feel good. I've just bought all the staff for changing from dark hair to platinblond. I'm curious about the result. Take care

Very true you have to decide for yourself and be comfortable with yourself. When I shaved my head recently my dad wouldn't even look at my face, it was upsetting. But I learned that if I'm happy that's all that matters. Thank you for all your insight.

Your so right. I buzzed all my hair off 2 weeks ago. It's the best thing i ever did. I did the same as you and hid behind my hair following society and lost myself. The journey I've been on im 2 weeks is crazy just because i shaved it all of!

Please make more videos! You’re such an inspiration and I love your self confidence. I just got a buzz cut. For my entire life of 37 years I’ve been struggling with my hair - so much time, money and energy spent on worrying about my hair. I also noticed, just like you, that I was trying to hide my insecurities with my hair (big forehead and ears that look different pair) and it was so stressful. The shorter I went the better I felt so I finally decided to buzz it all off - the greatest decision of my life!!! My husband loves it too and says that I look so cool and much younger.

I buzzed my head about a month ago and bleached it. I love it personally. It’s just a lot to maintain I’ve noticed.
Speaking of fetishizers: had some guy walk up to me in a grocery store and told me how attractive I am (how nice of him) then he asked when I would like to spend “time” with him... wtf dude. The audacity of the male population 🤦🏼‍♀️

You make a lot of sense, I have noticed those stereotypes!! I love your confidence!! I am so sick of the judging!! Yes, I can relate even though I haven’t had a buzz cut because I just recently had a hairdresser cut my hair too short. And it looks terrible!!! I just do not have a nice head shape!!! Thank you!!! At the moment I am going through a massive amount of stress caused by loneliness and PTSD. My hair has been shedding so badly. I shaved my head years ago for the same reasons. Stress does a lot of bad things to the body. My hair falling out is one of them. I just want to thank you!! Still debating over what I should do. I'm just so emotionally drained. Not having any hair is one less thing I would have to worry about.

Literally as much as you think you will need, the powder bleach comes with a scoop and I usually use one full scoop and a half and then I add pretty much the same amount of 30 volume and mix together! Super easy!
For toner I use just bigger than a £2 coin size and then add the same amount of colour release! Xxx

LOVE your channel!! Your videos are so helpful....and like calming?? Hahah. Also your eyes are GORGEOUS!! Anyway, I buzzed my hair off about a month ago, and tbh hated it at first. Didn't feel feminine or beautiful at all for weeks. Getting the sides and back faded/cleaned up helped a lot though, and I definitely want to bleach my hair super light once it gets a bit longer (like medium pixie length I think). But yeah I think society has so many people programmed to associate women with short hair as gay, weird, or like sick? And as a woman with short hair, it's easy to start seeing yourself in a negative light. But we all are beautiful and bomb af, and strong enough to break those stereotypes and live our best freaking lives, short hair or otherwise :-DDDD

Thank you so much! Whatever you wanna do with your hair is entirely up to you! So do it! Don’t hold back!! Eventually we will be able to get rid of the stigma behind short haired women, but for now we gotta hold our heads up high and be confident that we know who we are! Xx

Wow such an informative video. I truly enjoyed you and all the things you covered here. I chose a platinum buzz cut last summer, with temps where I live reaching 118 most days in July. I absolutely loved it and felt the same vibes you do. Especially when it was fresh and just lightened. I was having to bleach it every 2 weeks and that started to get old. Well I wore it 6 months. This last Dec. I decided I wanted a bit more hair. Yes I started just shaving sides and leaving the top go . I've got a few months growth but I did stop bleaching. I applied a Carmel brown to compliment the new growth. I'm starting to get baby bangs now lol and honestly liking them.
My buzz cut experience, like you, was one of the greatest moves ever. Empowering and chick and absolutely cooler in hot weather lol. No fuss hair is wonderful especially when it rains. But I think I'm ready to play with some more hair now for awhile. Would I consider doing it again? Well if course lol. Who knows, might not like this hair thing again after all.😄
    Time will tell.
But I had to tell you that your look fits you so well. I've seen so many females in buzz cuts but you look the best in one so far.
Your face shape really pulls it off for you.
I'm a hairdresser. And I think all the information you gave out to the public was great. You are such a positive young woman and that rocks! 👍👍👍💐

Or the touching! One thing I truly hate is when men come up and aggressively rub your head. It happens to me all the time! Not once have I ever had a woman touch my head, typically I get “oh I wish I had the courage to do that” from women, but men feel like they can just invade your bubble, like buzzing your head is an invitation to be touched. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have salt and pepper hair, (getting to be more salt than pepper) which is why I started going blonde. I have a pixie, but have wanted to buzz for simplicity. But I’m worried about how often I’d need to cover the regrowth, bc my bleaching takes a lot longer than yours.
I usually have to bleach two 30 minute rounds to get things more evened out, but I only do it about every 6-8 weeks. You mentioned you only bleach for 15 minutes once. Does your hair just lift really easily, do you think your bleach is more effective, or is it the frequency that you’re bleaching?
    Thanks!

    • @tinietashaa4009
      @tinietashaa4009  3 роки тому

When you buzz you hair you have less hair and the hair you do have is closer to your scalp, therefore it will process quicker than any normal haircut anyway.
You may find you only have to bleach it once rather than twice xx
