- Paint your own Buddha Painting that you can hang in your meditation space or gift to someone special!
This class is suitable for anyone who is ready to go on to more advanced techniques. In this class we learn about the importance of values and how to work with a limited palet. If you haven't done my first Buddha Painting Workshop yet, it might be a good idea to start there! Check out my Quicket link for class details in the link below.
When creating Buddhist art, I'm firstly able to access my own Buddha nature from within me, and secondly, to manifest an energetic container of compassionate intention.
One brushstroke at a time, as our art becomes something sacred and eminates light to the benefit of all.
Join me to pay this energy forward as I show you how to paint your own Buddha painting step by step!
You do not need to be a Buddhist to participate. Any person from any belief orientation can benefit from creating a Buddha painting as Buddhism supports anyone in being a better human being, and that can only alleviate suffering if we practice kindness with compassion.

Which Buddha are we painting?
Amitayus, the Buddha of Eternal Life, is also known as Amitabha, one of the five Cosmic Buddhas of Esoteric Buddhism.
Amitābha (Sanskrit) also known as Amida or Amitāyus, is a celestial buddha according to the scriptures of Mahayana Buddhism. ... Amitābha means "Infinite Light", and Amitāyus means "Infinite Life" so Amitābha is also called "The Buddha of Immeasurable Light and Life".
Amitabha Buddha Mantra:
"Om Ami Dewa Hrih!"
Meaning & Benefits. This is the sacred mantra of Buddha Amitabha, which protects you from dangers and obstacles, and overcomes all hindrances to your success at attaining enlightenment.
When He is depicted standing in art, He is represented with the right hand facing outward also with thumb and forefinger or middle finger touching. This mudra or hand gesture eminates the blessings and light out to all who may need it." ~ Source: Wikipedia
I will continue to add variations of this art form to this workshop showcase. For more inspiration watch my free open studio videos where I paint 3 other Buddha paintings here:
