I noticed John Comer from Volvo Trucks was sat on the next table at the awards. I first met John when I introduced the Volvo chassis into Greater Manchester Fire Service fleet 32 years ago. With just a few exceptions the service has retained their allegiance to the manufacturer all this time. No doubt Foxy will know him well given the number of FMX tippers he's operating. Although you didn't win it was nice for you to be recognised. Your time will come.
Another hour video, You say You struggled for content but this was great. Also don't knock yourself about your content every episode I've really enjoyed and good to see you getting on with others in the same industry
I myself have only ever helped as a driver changed one set of tracks,But as an old coal miner we never had the gas or fork lift . It took a lot longer than a couple of hours having to do it in 3 foot of mud . The track were not maintained to your standard, only got replaced when they wouldn't drive or kept getting thrown off, which was normally when you got into boggy ground
Great stuff, Baz. I really appreciate how you keep it simple for us not in your industry. I was in engineering my whole working life, just not anything like what you do. Keep up the good work. Always look forward to your content. Thx.
Starts your saturday off well with an hour of Baz and director.Great idea doing the track pad exchange, saves hours changing pads sometimes👍Can't wait for the christmas special👌
Great content easily one of my favourite UA-cam channels. I work for Paterson’s quarries in Scotland for the engineering department and it’s refreshing to see the engineering manager get tore into the work helping the boys out. Keep it up because I feel I’m learning loads watching your channel
Great content Baz and Director sorry you didn't win the award Baz, and I thought you were a big fella but how big is Ashville lol proper man mountain he dwarfed you stood at the side of him, stay safe Paul P
The effert that you go to in order that we the viewers can see what & how you get up tp is far greater than Ashfield. (I watch both channals) I could say more but I'll leave it at that. You do a great job - thanks
Never mind Baz another time, good insight into refurbing the tracks a good way of re-cycling the old tracks. As always stay safe and crack on lad to the next one.
You are a true hero for business ethics, if only more of the British were of similar makeup as you, we would be a far greater country and society, Very well done to you all, keep up the GOOD WORK, Best wishes to you all
I'm sure next year Baz you'll get an award along with the Director and some time back help a good mate out with the tracks on his digger did them more or less the same way but your way with the pin is way much better , would love to see how big the yard is from above using the drone 🙂.
Yo baz i used to h8 doing undercarriages!!at least u didnt replace bottom rollers there the worst parts to change so that was lucky unless u r doing cat dozers where u can remove complete undercarriage flip it over and replace rollers then refit whole assembly nice one baz 😊

Hello Baz ( Mr welderfabber) I have been following your channel since you went to collect bucket from Ashville's but I have just clicked the subscribe button today definitely worth the time. You have definitely come a long way since. I like your in-depth how you guys work and no cutting corners or covering up things. Well Mr welderfabber I look forward to watch this show every Saturday morning before I set of to work definitely worth the subscription. Stay safe be good. Who knows I might be knocking on your door coming summer.😅
Seems like a nice easy fix and effective with the new tracks and great to see the expander pins working as they should!! Unlucky on the award they will be another time I can imagine live all your videos and will be looking forward to Xmas special great work once again baz and director 👊💪 And congratulations foxy for the award it's well deserved 👏
@welderfabber that's where I found out about you mate from ashville so shout out to him, but knowing your a northerner like myself, it's only real to support your own
Baz, once again another great video. For us mere mortals looking over your shoulder, its is a pleasure and learning experience. BTW, looking real posh with the suit and tie. Congrats to Daniel, you're in good company. Fox Groups is the gold standard. Have a Merry Christmas... Cheers
Good morning....always a school day for me when I turn on your vlogs. Changing the tracks on that digger was really interesting but I bet doing it can be a pain at times. I see the replacement parts are far better spec than OEM. I wish car parts were like that. Saying that I wonder what the price difference is between those beefed up parts and makers ... Gutted you didn't get the social media influencer but Ashville has been going for quite a while longer on line but you're catching up very quickly. I was surprised at the size of Daniel though as you're not a small fella yourself Baz ... Thanks to everyone and of course the director for another gear vlog. Can I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas. Thank you for keeping me entertained through a challenging year for myself health wise. Gary 🙏

Great content! Very enjoyable. If you're in need of content, you spoke earlier about a machine recovery you were going to film. That would be interesting! Cheers from Texas!
Another great video Baz. Dont worry about the lack of content, it's at just the right level, educational and interesting. Forget the critics. One question how often do you check the track tension?. The system looks foolproof and works well if maintained. I would think lack of attention to the track tension would accelerate wear.
If you have chance before Xmas break editor maybe it’d be helpful to most operators to show them how to properly park a 360 machine up to protect rams from the frost and to take pressure of the track motor’s as well as the importance of not having the undercarriage packed with dirt that freezes putting extra stress on the track. It’s surprising how few know even the older op’s.
Good content as usual. I would just HAVE to give the equipment a power wash first and get rid of most of teh muck. No doubt there's a reason they dont?
Really enjoyed seeing a track change, you make it look so easy. Im curious to the four finger measurement for tension, does that work for all machines? Even say a 5 tonner on rubber tracks
Suprising how long those tracks are when you pull them off innit/ Do you guy's cover Yorkshire at all? (if you ever need people i'm free for plant and tig welding and hyper therm goodness ;)
I've never seen a track loader wear out an under carriage like that, they usually get very little wear. That looks more like a 6 or 7000 bulldozer undercarriage! Is it operating in a severely abrasive environment?
Hi Baz, so im a Driver, usual on loaders sometimes walking floors. The company I am at has tippers mixes then a few loaders and waste trailers, we have a heap of plant too but its not for hire, but when it comes to fixing plant its our plant fitters that do everything on them apart from welding we have two welders that cover that, so why are you guys out at crushers or like todays video change of tracks everywhere I have worked thats a plant fitters job ?
