Growing up this model city bus was my favorite
i like there new flyers low floor
It's actually a 77 passenger, 36 sitting others standing
u can fit alot of ppl on a transit 36 seats aint nuttin add another 25 standing
1995 New Flyer D40LF.
I miss the old standard floor Flexibles.
Is that bus built in Winnipeg, Manitoba? I rode a bus like it when I visited Victoria, Canada. I also rode this in Ottawa, Hamilton, and Toronto Ontario.
The busses I rode on had the ramp upfront.
Great piece of machine! Rode these to college every day, and they were always warm with heat inside. But I'm honestly kinda surprised that this comes with Cummins instead of the 4 cylinder detroit diesel
Be kinda fun to just drive around and pick up people and drop them off.
This transit bus is like all the damn gillig buses you make vids on.
I want one like that!
One question about New Flyer D40LF is back in the 90's and Early 2000's
Ex OCTA 5300-series D40LF
5321, 23, 28, 63 and 90 were bought by Indian trails in 2009 to operate western Michigan’s campus bus service.
This bus was a ex Orange county Transit bus from Orange county California
i like there new flyers
Correction, B400R transmission
Bike rack clip seemed a bit loose, I wouldn't have much faith in it holding.
8.3 cummins means its a cummins ISC
I thought this was an ex Omni Trans
ex-octa actually. The seats have the distinctive old seat pattern
+jcast39atmsn yea I can see the arrows on the outside along the top
How many of these buses do you have on your lot?
Nice bus how much for it is it from Tacoma PT. My dad was a driver for them
Transmission is actually B400R5 not B500R
I don't see why a *40-foot* bus would have a B500, anyway. I seriously doubt it would fit. (It would be different if we were looking at a D60.)
spaking of transit buses will there be a 2008 Gillig Adventage Transit Bus with 42 Passengers for sale?
what year is that bus
Why is the ramp in the back?
New Flyers have a ramp on every door. Though, on the busses here in vegas, the rear ramp is hardly used.
Because thats how they were ordered.
How this even made it up to WA is interesting. I guess it's suitable for the highway.
Also, 40xxx miles is pretty damn low for something like this.
***** well that's how dealers like to scam. i know there's a okinawa-reimport dodge campervan being sold for 15k with 35k miles, actually has over a million
Not entirely surprised... I've driven quite a few New flyers and they seem to always have unusually low miles...
Meanwhile Gilligs and motorcoaches have tons and tons of miles on em
How much?
I got a bus like that outside
Octa Orange County transit
Do a Orion vii
cool an EX OCTA bus
