I love how Hochstetter is saying "What is this man doing here" despite this being one of the few times Hogan has a completely good reason to be present.
Hogan is a prisoner of war a VERY far way away from his prisoner of war camp, which he is not supposed to leave. In fact, whenever Hochstetter sees Hogan, he's typically inserting himself into places or conversations suspiciously, at best. The question is ALWAYS justified.
DON'T TELL ME WHAT IZ GESTAPO BUSINESS!!!!!!! What iz thiz man doing here? what iz thiz man doing here?!!! WHAT IZ THIZ MAN DOING HEEERE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There’s no lack of irony thanks to the fact a large number of the actors playing German officers are actually Jewish! I really love all the tongue and cheek humor
Just Me worked with a young german lady, about my age, always called her schöen fräulein, she would always correct me, so i then called her gnädige fräu, which she accepted. Good times.
No, that's the one the agent has just evacuated. It's at the top of the house (for best radio reception), which will also give the agent the most time to get clear.

On the contrary, you'd be surprised how many SS Nazis managed to become American Citizens. It's always likely that he managed to do this himself, if not escape to the Argentine. Then again, considering how he's always in Germany and not out abroad, it seems likely he died in combat...or yeah, probably tried for war crimes. I easily see him surrendering once surrounded.
Wolfgang Hochstetter escaped to Bariloche, Argentina, worked as an innkeeper and actuary and lived out his life in quiet obscurity under an assumed name. He died in 1981. John Cleese stayed at his hotel, where he became the inspiration for Cleese's Basil Fawlty character.
Actually Hochstetter was part of operation Nimrod. Nimrod was not a single person but 3 people. It's obvious. After the war he joined the CIA and retired in Potomac Maryland. Just kidding. We never learned the truth of Nimrod.

The best is when Hochstetter gets so fed up all he can say is "BAAAAHHHH!!!!" and he walks away.

He was so frustrated by the idiot Klink that he wasn't thinking clearly.

"Somebody's gonna call the cops."
But the Gestapo = police. So they're gonna call the police...on the police. LOL
There was also the regular police. And the SS police SD. And the army police Abwehr.
The irony of that is even the cops were kept an eye on by the Gestapo

Hochstetter got better results using Belgian Shepherds than Klink did with German!
