Edit from season 1, episode 3 of Hogans Heroes ... "In Colour!" The sitcom ran for 168 episodes from September 17, 1965, to March 28, 1971, on the CBS network.
Everytime Hogan mentioned the Russian front. Klink would stop what ever he was doing and pay attention to Hogan. The look on Klinks face would make me laugh.
One of the creators once said that this show never would've worked without these two leading men and he was right! The chemistry between these two actors lit up the screen. You can tell they were enjoying playing off each other.
Klink whith his movement of the arms, face, etc: He is one of the best regardless of any sitcom. Hogan are of course building up the scenes, but Klink take it to another level with his reactions.
Reminds me of another exchange (S3E6): Hogan: Who's running this camp! Klink: You are... I am! Hogan: You give the orders here, right? Klink: Yes, I do. Hogan: Nobody's going to tell you what to do. Klink: No, they're not. Hogan: Get on that phone and make a date with Gertrude right now. Klink: Yes, I will. ua-cam.com/video/xeBpDZBUZ1I/v-deo.html
I beg to differ, he wore it when he was trying to be a German version of Patton. I think in this episode he volunteered for the Russian Front to get a promotion after being manipulated by Hogan.
I would like to believe that had Robert Hogan been stationed in London rather than at Stalag 13, the world would remember Dwight D Eisenhower as Deputy Supreme Allied Commander. 🇺🇸
He throws out the Geneva convention a lot I've noticed that and in a few of the episodes that he pulls up the Geneva convention and throws it out there a lot
There needs to be a movie adaptation of this series with an all star cast. I can see Ryan Reynolds as Hogan, not sure who else could be cast as the others.
Wouldn't work. This show was lightening in a bottle. I also can't see other actors in the roles though if I had to try the only person who could maybe do a decent Klink is John Lithgow.
Fuck reboots. Klemperer and Crane were the only two guys for these roles. It was a moment it time; can't get it back, no matter how hard one tries. I hate hate HATE reboots.
In all honesty, the nonsense of this show got irritating after watching it a few times. Hogan drinking with Klink while prisoners at that camp and others suffered. Prisoners insulting or knocking German soldiers down without punishment. Hell, if things were that easy, why didn't every single one of our POWs escape? Were they just lazy or stupid? No, Hollywood was just smarter.
I mean its not meant to be taken seriously its a fun story if you took it seriously at all you could never have fun like they have the SS in some episodes and have one of them dress up as Hitler
Y'all ain't never watched CNN MSNBC and Fox News lately have ya.... Tune in... Nancy Pelosi always high or drinking knocking the president. Just about the same show... Adam Shifty makes a good Sgt. Schultz...
@@thekingsilverado9004 .. Hey, you've got a pretty good idea for a UA-cam parody video. Dub Hogan's Heroes voices over videos of House Democrats. Have "I know nothing" AOC talking about the glorious fatherland, Pelosi knocking the United States, and so on. With all the wacky characters on Hogan's Heroes, you could come up with some pretty funny stuff (secret meetings, scientists & global warming gunkgulator, the secret plans to get liberals to England by sub if Trump wins again, etc).
"I know a butcher from Chicago named Schneider, had a thumb that weighed a pound and a half" great line

The entire cast superb!
It was one of the best shows when I was growing up mine you only had 3 channels back then..

Nope. Schulz is the whole show.
@@justmeeagainn just saying nope doesn’t prove something. Shultz is great and Klink and Hogan are also great.
The best shows of the 60’s era.
It cracked me up how Klink always fell for Hogan‘s schemes.
Well he does run the camp and clink is a pushover thank goodness he’s like that or hogan wouldn’t get away with as much
Klink whith his movement of the arms, face, etc: He is one of the best regardless of any sitcom. Hogan are of course building up the scenes, but Klink take it to another level with his reactions.
Hogan and Klink...fantastic together...!
Ok i
Hogan knows how to mess with Klink's mind.
Shultz returned to run his toy company that had been closed for the duration . Millionaire 👍🏻
I like these episodes so so much
I laughed so much.
❤Thank You❤Sending lotz of LUV from Above❤❤❤🎉
Only the good stuff!
GREAT SHOW!!!!!!!!
"Klink".
Schultz sometimes I wonder whos running this camp !.

Me too
Lmfao 😂😂😂
Gotta love em

@@E3ECO Nice profile picture!
@@upthedownescalator630 Thanks! "Picture...."
@@E3ECO Yeah
It is my favorite episode when a prisoner went over the wire.
Hogan is giving Klink a really big head.
Not at all, not at all, he deserves this, General Dunn!
Good writing. Funny. Fresh.
this has most of the Hogan's Heroes tropes in it
Are we really not in the same thing about the fact that Hogan carries a copy of the Geneva convention in his pocket?
Not unusual really but he might also just carry it when he knows he’s going to try to use it in a ploy.
During the entire run of the series, Klink never wore his helmet, not even once. Get he was protective of it!
Well a Pickelhaube is a ceremonial thing from the First World War, you wouldn't wear such kind of memoria especially not at work.
I believe he did , also wearing a scarf riding in a motorcycle sidecar .
He sat on it a couple of times...
I beg to differ, he wore it when he was trying to be a German version of Patton. I think in this episode he volunteered for the Russian Front to get a promotion after being manipulated by Hogan.
He wore a standard helmet when pretending to be the iron colonel, riding in a motorcycle sidecar, but he did not wear that ceremonial helmet.
I love the motorbike riders Ray Bans !
This show is silly, which makes it great!
Did y'all watch CNN MSNBC and Fox news lately... Just about the same dern shows....
It's a comedy..it's supposed to be silly and lighthearted..not at all like the real thing.
I would like to believe that had Robert Hogan been stationed in London rather than at Stalag 13, the world would remember Dwight D Eisenhower as Deputy Supreme Allied Commander.
🇺🇸
That black Mercedes parked by the office was used in The Untouchables.
I will decide what is dangerous and what is not dangerous in Stalag 13!
I think Hillary said about the same lines the other day..
@@thekingsilverado9004 YESSSSSS!!!
Love it
That was Bob Crane on the drums!
Awesome
In all of Germany, nope in all of Califorina.
There must be a lot of those "i, ii, iii" pages in the front of that book!
Yesss!
Just imagine how thick that book would be if it went up to 10 pages.
🤣
The drums in the beginning are in many ww2 movies when the Germans are shown. I wonder what the relationship is why they use it
Awedome
When is the movie being made?
This was the first time the repetitive line "Russian Front", got legs, then mileage.
HAVE YOU NOTICED HOGAN'S HEROES HAS BECOME IMPOSSIBLE TO FOLLOW ON YOU TUBE.
It used to be easy but UA-cam have cocked-it up.
yeah you can see they hadn't really flushed out the characters yet and the desk is in a different place
is there a single episode where the Western front is not threatened?
Just got the Munic police reference lol
Fonz wore Hogans leather..interesting story

It's called, dramatic sensationalism
Not sure of the reason why they chose to apply makeup to Hogan’s face to imitate 5 o’clock shadow.
He throws out the Geneva convention a lot I've noticed that and in a few of the episodes that he pulls up the Geneva convention and throws it out there a lot
Do they ever wash those glasses ?
This show would work in the 21st, just swap Stalag13 for Abu Ghraib ......it will be a hoot😅😅
Shultz thinks hogan is running the camp i agree

Who would be fat enough to play Schultz?
@@ericdunn360 good question all the good fat ones are dead john candy Chris Farley
@@ericdunn360 John Goodman.

Page 5 twice? Hogan tore out page 5. How can Hogan read page 5 twice? Time 2:05. First time.
Time 4:45 Second time.
Pay attention..different chapters.
Let's just forget the pervert...
Guess the Germans were short on BMW motorcycles, hence the Harley with the sidecar at the beginning.
😂😂😂😂 who is running this camp? My dad couldn't have asked that to his japanese camp guards in Saigon in WW2. Surely, the answer will be very ugly
