      To add to this while dylon is the normal method for washing dyeing imo hand dyeing is a lot better and you get better results Use right dye all purpose for cotton you can add pigments to change the colour or method of dyeing but if you want the thread to be dyed you have to then use a synthetic dye to dye it completely to the colour you need but trust me far better results then using dylon washing machine dye
