Thank you Bekkah. Fantastic video, love your insights and reporting on all things WDW. Stayed at the GF Villas earlier this month - absolutely amazing experience. Love the pool and GF Cafe. Another option to avoid the Bus situation is the “Mini” Van Service. Yes there’s $$ involved, but sometimes the convenience of this Service wins the day

We do not love the monorail so our next stay at GF will start with a stay at Caribbean Beach - we LOVE the Skyliner and will hit Studios and EPCOT hard. That leaves all our MK days for the Grand Floridian. We will also hit DAK but maybe splurge on a Minnie Van.

Love that! Great idea to start your trip at a resort with better access to HS & EPCOT, and end your trip at a MK resort. That’s the way to do it! 👏🏼

I'm surprised to hear about the Buses; that seems odd to me. My wife and I stayed at OKW in Sept 2020, soon after the reopening. On a few occasions, our bus would also pick up in the Port Orleans resorts. But only on a few occasions. Maybe twice in 10-12 rides. Always assumed it was just shortages following the pandemic. I have always found this hotel too much, personally; out of the hotels in this area I would take the Poly. Better theming, food (in my opinion) and easy access to the TTC and monorails. Still painfully expensive, though. Wilderness Lodge is incredible, but no monorail and only boat or bus transportation can be a little inconvenient.
It’s still crazy how expensive it is, but we REALLY want to stay here someday. Especially with the newly refurbished rooms! They’re just so beautiful! I can’t wait for the lobby to be renovated too. Also, you and Andy definitely need to go to Victoria and Albert’s for a special occasion sometime…it’s literally the best meal we’ve ever had.
Rent DVC to stay here. Literally saving 50% my next stay. Look into it.

OMG spending my first time at the Grand Floridian this upcoming Aug! We would never be able to afford this but my wife is attending a continuing education conference there and we ended up getting the Grand Floridian for around $250 a night! Really excited!!

I didn’t realize the bus situation was still a thing 🤯 in 2019 we stayed at SOG and would take the bus to the poly and they stopped at GF. But when we stayed at the Poly this December it went directly to HS and back so I figured they got it figured out..I guess not. 😢
That’s so strange! When we stayed at GF in December, we made stops at Poly every time 🤪 Maybe they gage the bus situation on how busy the resorts are. But it was definitely a pain.
@@BekahHart it was the week of Christmas and the bus was packed to the max!! Stopping at GF would have been pointless lol makes me wonder if the GF guest had to wait even longer for a bus 🤔
@@omega5418 that makes sense! We were there first week of Dec, so not quite as busy.
I read once that Victoria and Alberts was the only 5 diamond rated restaurant in all of Florida. The couple of vloggers I've seen eat there spent over 1K😲

We stayed there one time. Crazy expensive for what you get! They should at least include breakfast with the deluxe hotels !

I can’t remember if you’ve stayed at Riviera yet? I have stayed at Riviera but not the Grand. I feel I love Riviera for the same reasons you love GF (just replace MK with Epcot and HS).
And TP room finder is my most visited website and I feel like I have all the resorts best room numbers memorized, lol!!
We have! The riviera is one of my favorites 🙌🏼 And yes! So glad someone else has the same love for the room finder feature as I do 😅❤️

Is toppolinos dinner kid friendly ? I heard it’s fancy I have a breakfast reservation there and dinner .. is dinner ok with toddlers ??
Absolutely! We took our toddler, and we saw lots of other families with babies and young kids ☺️
Is this hotel good for kids? Cause i was told Art of animation is better for kids with water park but the grand floridian is close to magic kingdom so that helps

I don't see our family ever staying here. Way too expensive and foo foo for us. We don't even feel comfortable walking through the lobby to see the gingerbread house. Surprised GF doesn't have a dedicated bus for the price you pay to be there.
Totally get it! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. And right?? I would expect more from the bus stop considering the price tag to stay here.
Marathon week 2024, renting DVC-$4000 for 6 nights (theme park view) Fantastic price. Agree that booking through Disney steep for here

Another dining option that is (hopefully only) temporarily closed is the Garden View Tea Room. Pre-COVID shutdown, they offered a wonderful afternoon tea service! Delicious & relaxing! 🫖
I need to watch this after my meeting, but we stayed at GF once and it was horrible. Flies and bugs swarmed the beaches (we couldn’t even sit in the pretty beach lounges), the food was bad, the fun splash pad area was closed, it was just the least magical experience there and I won’t ever pay that much for that resort again. I would choose Beach Club or even one of the All Stars over it! 🫶🏻
