- An Irish groom from Co. Derry got his old irish dancing crew back together at his wedding for one night only. The guys have been retired for a few years now but the bride came up with the great idea that they should get back together and the groom contacted his friends to see if they would do it. It was a mesmerising performance that left the guests gobsmacked. Check it out!!!

This is brilliant! I was wondering, does anyone know what the name of the step they do at 2:25 is? I've seen it many times in these kind of videos and I'm feeling particularly curious today haha.
It's called a roll or a drum but when I dance it, I say "tip, heel, step" in my head. You take the foot in front, hit the tip, then the heel and then step with the back foot very quickly. Michael Flatley does it in a lot of his shows where he starts out very slow and speeds it up.

Tap came from Irish and traditional English clog dancing. You are only allowed to be a groomsman if you can drink your weight in Guinness.
They were all in a dance group together with the groom
I am 67 & have been to more weddings than I wish to remember in Ireland, have NEVER seen any dancing other then the normal drunken lot. There lot are just not true !. Don't believe them.
