Watched your GDQ submission of Gears 1, surprised I haven't found you sooner. It's enjoyable to watch. No way to put that without sounding like a boomer lol.
Do you know if someone tried a speedrun of any gears games on insane difficulty? apart from that guy who did a world record of gears of war 1 on insane.
If for Gears 1 you're talking about Youkai, it's a segmented run which is a very different achievement. Nobody really does single segment/RTA runs on Insane. It's too slow and too boring, both to play and to watch. You pretty much end up sitting in cover for hours while everything bullet sponges. On Gears 4, Jervalin and I have done Inconceivable runs on solo and co-op, but tbh it's easier than Insane but still takes around 4 hours and 30 minutes at best. If you want to see that, I think I have a slightly slower time highlighted on my Twitch if you go back far enough in the highlights. Not sure if Jerv uploaded his POV anywhere, but you could check his YT.
That’s neat. I just don’t understand why they made it that way to slide and slam their backs into cover. I’ve played the original Gears and i just never understood it.
Whoops guess I missed that one, but I wonder why nobody said anything until now. 🤔 Good thing I cut out the other 2 hours of on-stream resets. Sorry it's difficult to click up 3 minutes.
Literally nowhere does it imply insane difficulty. If you rewatch the first 3 seconds in the video it's pretty clear that the run is on casual/beginner, which is the standard difficulty for Gears speedruns. Nobody plays higher on any of the games (except Gears 4 for Inconceivable) because it's too slow/boring. This game already has a ton of empty sections. If you think you can do Insane in a "reasonable" time that still seems like a speedrun as opposed to a let's play episode (sitting behind cover for half the game) then send it on over. I'd be very interested to watch that.
Love the run Glad someone did it.
Youre playing runescape while speed running? You, sir, embody the ideal of no xp waste.

at 1:36:20, the thing jack hold during the fight, was at 4% at the end of the fight....on my lastest playthrough
My dude you deserve waaaay more subscribers
nice run man
It is incredible this time I passed the campaign in Inconceivable ironman in 3 hours 58 minutes my record in the maximum difficulty
Cool. Post the run on speedrun.com I'd love to see it
As always, carmine is in trouble.
Impressive; the runescape clip made me laugh lol.
This is underrated
Wish there was a guide on tips for speed running on iron man
A few months ago I did all mutators + inconceivable. It's not a guide, but maybe you'll get some ideas from watching that
good run man
lol at the glitched music and the grenades at the beginning (around 7:00)
What difficulty do you do your runs on? I've watched a couple of your videos and you have me doing the inconceivable all mutations on run now lol
Unless otherwise noted, all Gears Any% runs are on Casual. Definitely don't do these strats on Inconceivable lol
Un récord es considerado en máxima dificultad porque en informal cualquiera rushea.
Obviously your knowledge of speedrunning is pretty minimal. I invite you to do it faster and hopefully you'll learn something in the process.

I did it on less time than this I can say I hold the record gonna uploaded soon
God
On what difficulty was this set on btw sick run
Casual/beginner. It's the usual difficulty for speedrunning these games
so strange to hear music in the game, i turn the music off in almost all games, it takes away so much atmosphere and is so annoying 😊
why the guns have no recoil?
Either I'm good at aiming or that's just how the game is.
You decide 🤷
You can turn it off in the settings for campaign all difficulties, escape and horde.
Flurry is your name fleacher
nope
I never understood Gears and why they have to slam their backs against an object to climb up or climb cover. 🤷🏻♂️.
You can mantle over a cover now
You can jump over cover.

Hey I got 3 to! 3 weeks
Hello
You lost me on your first reset. You should've edited your video
Whoops guess I missed that one, but I wonder why nobody said anything until now. 🤔
Good thing I cut out the other 2 hours of on-stream resets. Sorry it's difficult to click up 3 minutes.
The game was a wrap after gears 3
yeah. i enjoyed gears 4 and 5 but it just felt like a regular shooter game, nothing special like gears 1-3. We Won’t Talk About Judgement
Just wish they made Gears 4 about the lore and built up Sera instead of making a new story
Gears 5 is ass compared to the rest but still fun to watch
That's like your opinion lol
Too bad it wasn’t on PC. You could’ve gotten a better time.
Definitely not on insane difficulty unless he uses mods... grenade crawler exploded 2 feet from him... no damage taken... death on insane
