Just started really getting into bass fishing this year. So far here in Michigan I'm finding lunker logs seem to be the only thing I get hit on. Just picked up some googan baits after following you guys. Tight lines and keep the great content coming.
I live in MI too in Clarkston, try the Drag N Drops, they are super fire on a shakeyhead for smallmouth or largies, and also try the rattlin chunks and put them on a ned head or just a ballhead jig
I use Wacky Rig most of the time The bass usually hit it but I always catch Bass with Shiners I live in Michigan too.
Do you have an instagram I can help out a little bit as a local Michigander Squarebills work great in smaller ponds I find but cranks are always hood

For me it was favoritism amongst the team (“star athletes” dad was the coach 4 years in a row. *he was absolute ass) plus I threw my arm/shoulder out one to many times and just didn’t heal back after the last one 😔

Norm, I have only been watching your video again for a few months but I love your content. It always gives me a good laugh wether you’re fishing or doing a survival challenge, I love it all. My favorite bait fs has to be the black and blue or summer craw bandito bug. Like Logo said, it’s the bait that can do everything and I completely agree. It’s awesome!!!

Favorite lures of all time is weightless craw for soft plastics, a clutch for hard bait, spinnerbait for moving, and poppin frog for topwater.

Honestly my favorite bait is a strike king structure jig. it catches fish no matter what conditions. i prefer it in black and blue or green pumpkin.

Love the videos norm, your all that pops up on my feed now. I found yours and devins channels from lojo and I’ve been hooked ever since. Personally lake fishing my favorite bait would be the Sriracha craw rattletrap and my favorite pond bait would be linker log or drag and drop in a natural color. That seems to be what works. Anyways love the videos and all the content you bring to the fishing fans.

I just recently got back into fishing after 3 years. My dad loved fishing and he passed away and I could never bring myself to get back out again. I just recently got to where I find the peace with it again. I have to say my favorite is Googan sexy shad Blooper, just the excitement of seeing them snatch it. You guys are amazing! Keep it up!

Favorite bait of all time was the original kastmaster spoon lure, haven't fished in 15 years but those were the go to when i did fish. Thankfully watching your videos sparked up a big interest to go fishing again.

Just finished our fishing/camping weekend and I would have to say Lunker logs are my favorite. Got the most fish and bites with them so far.
The fact that I was throwing the exact rattling Ned rig that Norm was talking about and didn’t have a single bite makes me reevaluate my fishing techniques 😂cause I didn’t catch a dang thing!

Been throwing a black and blue lunker log on a shaky head and it’s been killing it.
I had no idea fish reacted to purple so well so thanks for that information, but that also explains the reason why, when I throw a purplelish pink zoom curtail I catch like at least 5 fish. So they do really react to that more, keep up the great work.

For Ponds, my favorite bait is a beatlespin. On the lake, we share favorites. I like rattle trap for lake and deeper ponds. Not good in shallower because of just becoming a grass catcher.

Favorite bait of all time… tough question probably just a little 3in. Chartreuse Paddletail. Easy and simple, easy to use, and catches fish

I’ve been bass fishing for about 11 years, my favorite baits would be a white h&h single bladed spinner bait and chompers for more of a slow day. (It would be nice to try new tackle!

I learned alot from this video. I always use spinner baits because I wasn't confident about all the plastics but I'm definitely going to give it a shot now.
My favorite lure would probably be a curly tail worm. I've definitely caught the most, and largest bass with them.
