I was wondering if you could speak to the required Yamaha 2020+ SVHO Engine Cooling Upgrade kit that as I am told a must with the Gen 3 Power Cooler? Why is it a must and do you have any awesome you tube how too for it? Thank you. Just FYI I just bought my first wave runner "2020 GP1800R SVHO" ever and bought a few extra items to have an edge on the average person, not a racer, but did get some of your best stuff.

Thumbs up! I have a 2017 SVHO Limited. Its all stock. I would like to add a BOV just for the sake of having one, but am also thinking of adding the BOV / Intercooler kit. What kind of performance gains would I expect to see from an upgraded intercooler? This kit would be the only mod. I do not race and do not plan on adding any further changes to the stock machine. Thanks.
You will see improved performance throughout the RPM band. This will be especially noticeable in the heat of summer where the RIVA intercooler’s greater cooling capacity will prevent heat soak that robs performance as your engine warms and both air and water temps rise.
i love riva products but this intercooler semms to have a bad reputation and im not sure what cooler to get for my gp
will the intercooler give it any top end MPH? Looks like a great clean setup and a must with the blowoff valve...
Hi Robert! The RIVA Gen 3 Power Cooler makes it possible to raise engine RPM without overheating problems giving higher top speeds and faster acceleration. You will see improved performance throughout the RPM band, especially in warmer climates, or after the engine would normally have heat soak without the power cooler.

Is it lighter than the stock intercooler?
Our power cooler is not going to be lighter than your stock intercooler. This is due to us creating something with a larger capacity to increase your performance. Great question!
Sir why clutch broken after 30 hours
This could be due to a number of reasons due to your particular setup. That being said, you could contact our Technical Support specialists who could help you find the answer to why your clutch has broken.

Yes, but you must use our engine cooling upgrade kit!
