Watched it 3 times now. Best movie of 2024. It got a limited release here on boxing day. Highly recommend you watch it.
Having been to see Better Man at the cinema, I can tell you its fantastic. Lots of laughs, and even tears.
Here in the UK, we have always been aware of Robbie's struggles, and hear them played out in his songs, basically a soundtrack to his life.
And he's always felt like one of us, especially with the cheeky grin (I know, they pay me loads for this).
He's very real, in the way we would be,if we had that amount of money and fame.
And so the Nation has followed and routed for him.😊
His live performance at the Royal Albert Hall in 2001 "Swing when you're winning" is phenomenal
Mr Bojangles and I will talk and Hollywood will listen still gives me goosebumps.
The whole show is on UA-cam. After watching the movie, please react to him singing My Way at the Royal Albert Hall (how the movie ends). It’s incredible 🙌🙌
i agree with many comments, and i agree, his swing at the royal albert hall was his best work, my two favourites, was sammt davis mr bo jangles, and his last song my way, you could see the tears in his eyes, he knew he done something amzing, and he was right
This is a beautiful and honest, ugly look back and I loved every minute of it. Be prepared for crying.
You should definitely check out his swing concert at the royal Albert hall. It’s a totally different Robbie, and shows his incredible talent. You will love it!. I guarantee!.
I love seeing another man get teary eyed. As I’ve gotten older, I am no longer afraid to show my emotions. When Kobe died, it was amazing to see all these grown men allowing themselves to show their pain. You both are rapidly becoming my favorite reactors.
Just got back from seeing this, in UK it came out 26/12. He's always been my secret listening pleasure, I'm more into punk/metal, but Robbie is excellent, I saw him live in Hyde Park this year, amazing. This film is brilliant.
We share the same taste and I think in another timeline he would have made it big in a rock band.
There is also a four-part documentary on Netflix. It includes about 30 years of behind-the-scenes footage and is really good.
I don't watch Netflix, on principle.
It is amazing
This is also quite a raw depiction of him and still funny as well. He is sitting there in his undies quite a lot....lol....worth a watch for sure. I might watch that again now too!!!
Great definitely recommend and some lovely footage of Robbie’s lovely chest 👀😂
Thanks for letting me know that.
You’ve got to check out his 2024 New Year’s Eve performance of Rock DJ on the Graham Norton show. Amazing.
Robbie is a great performer.
Just watched this movie.... it's so good!!!! I sang, I laughed and cried a lot. Amazing ❤
I just got back from this movie. It did not disappoint!! I have been a fan of his forever & it was perfect! Hoping that Americans look into him further after seeing this movie ❤
Robbie was my daughters guilty pleasure and now her son attends Robbie's University in London (LMA) where Robbie is co-owner, they also have one in Liverpool. He gives a lot to the students there and often visits them offering advice and inspiration. My Grandson is studying film studies. Funny how life unfolds. We're off to see his film this week 🤟
Went to see it yesterday!! Soooo good!! Have loved him for 3 decades, and this does NOT disappoint! (The initial Boxing Day release was only in selected theatres and it is on general release from mid Jan).
Just been to watch it. It was 100x better than i expected. And honestly gives NOTHING away. Not one for the kiddies though :p , you'll love it, shows him to a tee.
Part of me hopes you wait till its on streaming platforms so i can see your reaction BUT it should be seen on big screen.. Perfectly wait so i can see your reaction then go see it on big screen lol
This film really surprised me its up there with the freddie , queen one v emotional too
I’m hoping that this movie gets him and his music much more recognition in the USA.
Great reaction, love Robbie. ...... and GO VOLS !
Rob's autobiography, FEEL, is well worth a read.
You realy must do his swing songs all the old clasics, it's different and the perfrormance is amazing. I particularly like Mr Bojangles.
I watched Better Man at the movies tonight. It's well worth seeing. There's something for everyone, even if you're not a big Robbie fan. Get out there and see it. 👍
I think you both should dip your toes into a bit of Take That. You could start with Take That and Robbie Williams virtual concert that they did during the pandemic. Obviously there was quite a bit of bad blood between Robbie and Take That after he quit and Robbie only kept in touch with Mark but they all made up eventually and Robbie even made new music and toured with them. This virtual concert was really enjoyable during the pandemic when we were all stuck inside ❤
Robbie’s always been raw and real and spoken his truth. I just hope his truth that is displayed in the film doesn’t harm his relationship with Gary again.
@@mikewatts867He and Gary have spoken about the film... They're good.
It opened in the USA in AMC theaters. I saw it today. Why a monkey. He's always felt like a performing monkey. It made me cry. I always knew a lot about him but this movie filled in the missing pieces. It makes so much sense. Loved it. Will see it again.
Saw the film today, absolutely outstanding 👏
robbie is truly a king! i've already seen the movie on monday and it's beyond incredible! don't forget tissues, you gonna cry.
it's different from any biopic - the way the are showing issues here is amazing and heartbreaking.
robbie doesn't shy away from the truth. he lay it all out and doesn't sugarcoat it.
i loved the movie! and even me as a fan, learned some new things about him.
it's truly a movie that anyone can watch. you don't really needs to know about robbie - you can go blind and still enjoy it.
the movie touches subjects and approaches that other biopics never thought about.
robbie is a real man who really likes the truth.
the movie is raw, honest, funny, heartbreaking and heartwarming.
i think any one of us can take something from this film. so many lessons to learn.
it's safe to say that i absolutely enjoyed every second of it and can't wait to watch it again!
ps: can't wait see robbie on tour next year! already got my ticket!
ps 2: pls react to his Netflix documentary! I will pay for your reaction! it's 4 episodes, 4 hours total.
There’s a great live performance from Live8 where he steals the show, same way Queen did at Live Aid
Robbie Williams, a great showman and entertainer.
Me and my monkey is a must watch of Robbie ✌️✌️✌️🎅🎅🎅
You've obviously reacted to some of his songs from Knebworth, try to see the whole set which goes by the title 'What we did last summer' it is a stunning performance!
Love seeing you watching your reactions to our shows 🇬🇧 saw your Peter Kay, this morning and the Liverpool match in Australia vlogs ❤ thank you ❤
You two are great may I suggest you react to his swing while your winning concert where he does the swing classics
Robbie has been sad for 30 years. He's made sure we all know about it. And thats before the film. However, we love him and are glad he's happy now. 😊 😊😊😊
The movie release only in England on the 26th becuase he wanted to release it in England first. He actully lives in the same city as me where both from Stoke but the film is amazing please see it whenever it realesses for you guys
Great reaction it should be a great film
It was filmed mostly in Melbourne Australia.
Getting totally addicted to your reactions, you are amazing personalities and react so genuinely to what you watch. I admit to shedding a tear or two over your Christmas reactions! Much love from london, can’t wait for more in 2025 P.S you should do ‘Every John Lewis advert reaction’ it’s something that’s anticipated here every year 🇬🇧 💪🏻 🇺🇸
Robbie has always been real
Absolutely love these RW videos!
Robbie Williams live at the albert hall 2001 swing when you're winning 1 hour 13 mins posted by Giannis Lampropoulos.
That's a great show.
YES!!! Please.. :)
Amazing gig, Mr Bojangles always gives me goosebumps, and I will talk and Hollywood will listen is classic Robbie.
Yep, they should definitely check out Mr Bojangles from that
Can’t wait to see you reaction to the movie
Robbie said its because he felt like a performing chimp, the eyes and expressions are robbie, this film is about his rise to fame and his downfall with drugs but to this day hes happily married with kids drug clean which is amazing
Robbie is a great performer! he also is a cofounder of soccer aid a charity football/soccer match played by celebs and athletes to raise money in alliance with unicef
Just got back from watching it at Odean Isense leeds Thorpe Park.......ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT....soooo loud awesome
Hey guys I know you are a fan of Elvis, Robbie Williams has a song called ‘Advertising Space’ dedicated to his hero
Resonates. To get married for a second time, I made sure my demons were known. Once accepted, I could move on
“He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man.” ― Samuel Johnson
was wondering where the robbie content had gone. apparantly its really good. The netflix series is also worth a watch.
Other songs to check out; Love my life, Lost, Me and my Monkey.
Saw this yesterday (Boxing Day in Australia), so good. You guys still really need to react to Me and My Monkey - live - hopefully with some understanding of context as most reactors don’t seem to have a clue what the metaphor of carrying a monkey on your back means and so miss the meaning of the song. ❤ 🇦🇺 🐨
It's out today (Boxing Day 26th December)
Please please do the other greatest Graham Norton moment "Robbie Williams Compares Childbirth to his Favourite Pub Burning Down - The Graham Norton Show"
Thank you for you'r content
You really should watch the video of when Taylor swift brought Robbie on stage to sing his song angels and hear the crowds insane reaction
i think this film will bring robbie back to the top.
He's still at the top. Still selling out stadiums worldwide. 85m records sold.
You should react to Robbie’s best performance from Knebworth “Me and My Monkey”.
100%!!
Nothing beats Come undone .
@@CoolHandLuke-q1eI like let me entertain you at knebworth
The movie opens in the US January 17th. I've not seen it yet in the UK. But I am going tomorrow.
Before watching the film, check out some old Take That videos. Then also check out The Flood from their reunion album, and Robbie and Gary’s duet Shame. I don’t think you need too much more context than what you’ve already learned, but the Take That time and their reconciliation might add a bit.
You say it will be an introduction to Robbie? Maybe that’s true in the good ol USA who seem to have completely missed his point.. he is a worldwide star and true genius. I really love your reactions to him and this just maybe will wake the US up to him
BETTER MAN MOVIE Release date: 26 December 2024 (UK)
React to the Taylor Swift Robbie Angels duet live - it’s iconic!
Robbie is a fellow Mancunian ❤
He's not. He's from Stoke.
I'm going to see it in cinemas tomorrow
My mother's favourite male singer. Basically grew up listening to him
Robbie has said that he often felt like a performing monkey hence he’s represented in the movie by a chimpanzee. An actor called Jonno Davies did the motion capture performance for the movie and, obviously, Robbie does the voice of the adult Robbie (with a child actor doing the same for the young Robbie). The song was submitted for the Best Song Oscar category but was rejected as it’s based on another song.
It wasn't based on another song. The first 2 lines sound similar to another song, but the Academy falsely worded their statement to make it seem like it was a blatant steal. Freddy Wexler, who came up with the melody, said he was thinking of a warm Cat Stevens type ballad. That was not who he was "accused" of copying. Also, Jonno is the actor; he does his own voice for adult Rob. Rob did the narration & singing.
You should check out his song called "Monkey", i like the live Knebworth version 👍
Please do more Robbie Williams, he has loads of vids to watch, Netflix doc you can react to it really is worth the watch.
If you want to learn more about his group Take That, they put out a documentary in 2005 titled "For The Record" with all 5 members being interviewed to give their perspectives of the band's story. It's on UA-cam. It lead to the 4 members meeting up since disbanding, getting closure from Robbie and reuniting the following year to a massive comeback. One of the very few groups to emerge out of the manufactured boy band stigma and evolve into a legitimate pop group. Definitely worth checking out.
Rock DJ is a banger guys
He is a Poundland Freddie Mercury. He literally can't sing. All he does is point his microphone at the audience and morons call that "charisma"
@@TheOrlandoTrustfull why are you even here
I’m extremely disappointed that the Robbie Williams song Me And My Monkey is not on the soundtrack.
Except it sorta is. He is literally the monkey in the movie that he sang about. It think it would have been too obvious to include that song and it was a wise choice
I recommend Elvis - Suspicious Minds (live in Las Vegas) by Lauro.........11m views from 9 years ago.
Jess will explode even if she watched it multiple times before. Put down some towels and give it an R rating 😆
Movie opens in cinemas today in the UK.
Opened yesterday here in Oz (26/12), defo a good watch 👍
What does Jess think about the various Elvis biopics?
THE. FULL VERSION OF THE SNOW MAN ANDTHE SNOW DOG. PLEASE.
Oh this makes sense. TikTok has been full of Brits responding to Americans saying they've no idea who he is and I wondered what he's done to suddenly be spoken about, and it's probably this trailer and the words "I'm one of the biggest pop stars in the world", so yeah that would trigger people to say - never heard of you.
I remember years ago, maybe 20 years, he signed an £80m deal (about $160m at the time) for X amount of albums deal, was a British record at the time I think. He left to live in the US and basically went a bit weird, largely disappeared and got really into conspiracy theories and smoking the green stuff... Obviously moved on from that, but there is the odd podcast with him talking about that period and it's quite interesting.
Like many Brits are commenting here, I'm not really a fan of his music, in the sense I don't buy or now stream his albums and I have absolutely zero interest in Take That (British Backstreet Boys of the 90s). But I know quite a few of his songs word for word and grew up on them. So I do find him an interesting character.
Have you got a bit of a secret crush on Robbie Williams Jess I wouldn't blame you if you did.
The whole soundtrack is out now, some interesting changes to the rerecordings. Forbidden road has a nomination for golden globes, but sadly has been disqualifed from oscar contention
Ya cause they stole from another song, not even kidding 😭 🙏🏻
Graham Norton has just added this Robbie Williams compilation... Very funny! ua-cam.com/video/HMGlCfMLTAI/v-deo.html
Robbie is brilliant in this. You just ask him. I hear he was the only one that didn’t need to wear a mask😄
We need karl pilkington 😩😂
This is an interview with Robbie and the guy who plays him in the film. ua-cam.com/video/ENqlzMzyOpU/v-deo.htmlsi=yqDsp9qmsk1riQmF

Why have you dropped all Ren reactions?
We deleted our only two Ren reactions over a year ago, only a few weeks after releasing them. I've gone into great detail about it many times, but it's understandable that not everyone knows the story.
We were still very new to reacting and at that time we were trying to keep to keep vulgarity off the channel completely as we have younger family members that occasionally watch the channel. I saw a reaction to Ren from The Charasmatic Voice and she censored her reaction to Tale of Jenny and Screech. I did the same with ours. We received tons of hateful comments for weeks until we decided just to delete them and move on.
Alot has changed with the channel and us since. It wouldn't go down like that now, but you can redo a first time reaction.
Don't explain your actions. I'm sure that pilchard will survive without a Ren reaction
Everyone reacts to Ren. It's getting boring now.
One of my first windows in Robbies real life was on his first album. When you left it playing, after 30 mins of silence on the last track, he does a hidden poem called "Hello Sir" referencing his time at school and one of his teachers.
Its short (1min14) but its awesome. This is it:
ua-cam.com/video/sQEYYlOG0VU/v-deo.html
Love the poem. He is a real wordsmith.
More of a chimp , he did say less evolved ! 🤗❤️🏴
‼️Please at least try episode one of Benidorm (hilarious comedy series about Brits abroad)‼️
Make that the first two episodes and preferably ALL episodes 😅
One of the main stars is Steve Pemberton from the Robbie Williams movie‼️
Really enjoy your reactions
I feel you would enjoy reacting to the original video for Robbie’s 1999 hit single ‘She’s the one’ - beautiful song and beautifully different video 😊
ua-cam.com/video/sVaRHJn_dgM/v-deo.htmlsi=XZ10BxHfMJb_ZN41
Wait.....watching someone reacting to a trailer!? What world are we living in? No hope 😢
Then why are you here?
Hello guys. How come you guys are not reacting to SB19 videos anymore. There’s a lot of going on. Stell has 4 songs and also Pablo they are amazing. Thanks. Miss your reaction to their songs. Take care. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 😊
I'm out
In UK women love him, but blokes.....cant stand him
Not me I cannot stand him never have never will he's so far up himself, I won't be watching this and before anyone jumps on me IT'S MY CHOICE.
I dunno about that. It was a commonly said thing about him that women wanted to be *with* him and men wanted to *be* him
@@moominmay Sean Lock summed him up perfectly on 8 10 cats
I love this guy. He's been through hell and back. He made it. He's alive and happy. So talented and so many beautiful songs. I'm A New Yorker and been a massive fan since 1999. Bring tissues
@ no doubt you’re a woman as expected. Us blokes can’t stand the tool
PLEASE, PLEASE DO A REACTION, THE SNOW MAN AND THE SNOW DOG, PLEASE.
If you’re talking the animated film (which I believe was based on a book), that is a must watch every Christmas at my house
oi bom dia Vocês deixaram de Seguir o Grabriel do Brasil 😂😂🎉
I don’t get this at all. I saw the trailer when I went to see Gladiator II and I was like ‘What the hell is this?!’
Please give your reaction to Vanny Vabiola's new official music video "Never Regret", it just released on 18/12/2024. Thanks in advance.
Why does this exist? Its just weird and I don’t see the point
yeah im out
Do they show the part where he stole his most famous song and only reason he had a solo career?
Thay never happened as Angels is the big one... And people always come by years later to say...hey that song was mine.. I get The One because it was somebody elses song. But if he didnt want anybody to cover it he should have made sure that couldnt happen. Hard to keep your songs to yourself once they're out there.... And theres several reasons for Robbie having a career. Not just one bloody song. No one gets big and stays there for decades based on one song. No one... Babylon Zoo anybody ?
Do they show the part where you clearly just dislike him and will find any excuse to run him down? The man has had multiple #1 hits and albums. He was part of a boy band that also did the same. You clearly haven't got a clue.
@ebbhead20 he was about to be dropped from his record label until the success of Angels, a song he says he wrote in his sisters garden, when actual legal documents exist which confirm it was written by Ray Heffernan, an Irish songwriter who played it to Robbie during a drunken night out. Robbies management later paid Ray £7,500 to waive all rights to the song, an amount he accepted as a struggling musician.
@Shenanigan5 well it sound like a case of he said she said... Dont buy into the stuff online that easy. Nothing good can come from it pal... 😎
@@ajorngjdonaydbr yeah, it seems like someone had a girl that met him and he made out with her... 😅
I don't "know", but I suspect that the UK sports psychologist Steve Peters that describes athletes having "lizard" brain, "Chimp" brain & "Human brain sectors fairly often in the past on sports broadcasts. As usual, "cultural context" is really hard to export. The worst is when we think a word means the same thing to different nationalities!!!ua-cam.com/video/ERzPfiIJywM/v-deo.html
