A handy vac would be a great way of disposing of all that dirt and dust while you pull from the storage unit. Maybe it wouldn’t make for a great viewing experience, but if done in one of time-lapses, it shouldn’t be too distracting.
My grandfather made wine and sold it to Al Capone. He came here to Chicago’s little Italy early last century from Abruzzo Italy. When I was 5 we bought a house, it had a large glass container of wine, so old it turned into wine vinegar. Try to sell the jugs as they are

The buttons on those old uniforms might have value. People are always looking for those types of buttons to replace missing ones on their uniforms.
Jack - those Pokemon cards are FIRST EDITION - exponentially more rare and valuable. any holo cards (the shiny ones) with the first edition stamp on the left are worth a whole lot even in terrible condition.

It astonishes me that someone would pay storage fees for years to avoid having to sort out their old junk! Imagine how much he could have saved. I understand that many lockers are kept long term because situations change and they have nowhere to put the stuff or are physically unable to deal with it, but this doesn't seem to be that kind of situation. And if he couldn't have done it himself, it would have cost 1 or 2 month's rental to pay someone else to pull it all out and dispose of all the junk. I guess it's a case of 'out of sight, out of mind'. 🤷♀

You should always carry a large paint brush to brush the dust off things. So much easier

Great to see your mom!! With all of the yellow lidded totes you have unloaded over the year, "could" you transfer some of the boxes into the totes? It would make it easier to stack the totes in the trailer. I know, in this case, it would be duuussstttyy.

Better luck next time Jack. That is all I can say on this on. Hi Jack's mom. Reminds me of my younger years when my mom was alive. We used to go to all the yard sales together. I knew she loved them as much or more than I did. Some might think I was a momma's boy, but I wouldn't give up the last few years with her for nothing. The only person I've ever known that didn't expect a payback from me which is probably why I loved doing so, so much.

There's another You Tuber I watch and he'll buy games and piece them out to sell . That way if someone might be missing that piece they can buy it .
Fisher price even has a bit and pieces catalog where you can buy replacement parts as does vtech
Parts are needed all the time so sell the parts like big companies do

I would not have bid on this unit. I’m not a reseller but an avid watcher of other peoples adventures. From what I have seen the dirty, filthy ones don’t usually have much profit and are triple the work
