I have a serious crash on Richard Armitage since North and south series. If I only had the interest of a man like Richard, I'd be content. Although I loved his acting and part in Obssesion netflix 2023, I don't believe this is a masterpiece. I saw no actual chemistry between him and lead actress. The ending is too predictable. Script appeared to be weak and somewhat shallow. I doubt I will watch season 2. With that said, I remain in Richard Armitage's fan base.

I think damage was so much better
Richard really just doesn’t have the range. It just made the watch creepy. I didn’t see the “magnetism” they speak of.

This Obsession plot is a copy of Betrayal with Jeremy Irons but whether it’s better or not remains to be seen.

Oh come on! Get over yourselves. It's a lousy copycat version of the excellent "Damage" (1993) directed by Louis Malle, with Jeremy Irons and Juliette Binoche.
My guess is Mr. Armitage did some massive facials. He's a good-looking man he should not tamper with his good looks.
Actually, if you see his mother's photos, you will see the strong resemblance and realise Richard has not had any work done. He's aging naturally and starting to look like his mom 😊

I saw chemistry. More like a strong tension, which is what the plot needed.
I think both of them were nt the best picks, they both dont really have much emotion on face, even in this interview yeah theyre hot but.. didnt feel actual chemistry between them on camera.

As a big fan of such stories in the film industry, I think it was a failure to cast Richard Armitage for this role. The look of his face, his expressions, do not go with this role. The series will be popular because of the story, but less because of his character in it.
