this was THE BEST Strat in 2015, but nobody uses it anymore. Why not? This Mirage A Execute was part of what made Fallen and Fer's names in the international scene at the time, so lets try it out and see if it still works. And maybe we can find a similar strat from today.

@@Jota750 i was talking very specifically about bad routing. it's extremely common on faceit/esea for players nearby to certain servers to get 100+ ping. (for example, a player I know from chicago requested we didn't play league matches on chicago because almost all of them gave him >100 ping).
I tried my very best to be clear in the ad, sorry if it wasn't.

Wait, so was the fact that the pro teams could have done nothing in response to the 2015 strat to win the after-plant the reason for it not being widely used?
it was used a solid amount, but it's kind of a cyclical thing. the afterplant control problem is probably why envyus and virtus pro ran strats without a top conn smoke, so they would have enough control of the map to hold the afterplant well. i think eventually once people solved it, everyone moved on. like
1- confused by new strat
2- solve it (either fight early from stairs + from ticket, or just play retake, both worked depending on scenario)
3- Ts try to solve that by not throwing top conn smoke and having a lurker to deal with those players
4- CTs solve the no top conn smoke variation
5- people move on/find new strats

0:40 fun fact.. had a 5 stack start at Nova Master NA and only queued EU by setting their accepatable ping to 200.... they went from Nova 3-4 to DMG-LE in like a week and half.... EU silvers were legit silvers....howver after MM reset recently they placed GE-Supreme on EU BUT deranked back to Nova master-MG once back on NA
used to run this strat alllll the time back in the day... legit used to win every game on Mirage.

Voo one thing I dont understand about the 2015 strat is couldnt you just take/push apps and flank. Rest of team leaves site and you have a pretty good chance of winning the round. Was there no games like this? Or pushing top mid?

guys, what i do wrong in csgo. I usually see an enemy after they start shooting me, so i have no chance to survive. I know about angles and prefires, I have good experince in csgo(had 6 faceit lvl once). Looks like I have poorest reaction among the players or smt else idk. Smb have similar experince?

Austin i'd call semi-pro, but cactus and frequency are both ~3.5k elo i believe (and prophet is ex-pro), so it just seemed like it was an easier way to get the point across without having to go into the minutia. It's more than just a faceit 10 pug since everyone is experienced competitively and well above 2k elo. I didn't think it was a huge misrepresentation for the majority of the audience to understand easily without a 30 second description haha

I learned csgo on NA mm. You always hear that eu mm is better. (Better team play, better comms, better players...)
After moving abroad and now playing on eu servers, (from silver - gold nova on my alt to master guardian - Supreme on my main) I can without a doubt say that eu players are pathetically bad at the game on average. Terrible aim, positioning, game sense, utility usage, etc. Comms don't exist unless they're Russian teammates that are screaming at everyone. All in all they're kind of brain dead. I have better games playing on NA servers with 130 ping.
