I was very interested to see if this new formula would work for me and how it performed. I was pleasantly surprised at the end of the day! Hi Chelsea. I think you were able to make that shade work. I wear the same shade but I'm darker than you. It's perfect on me! I also wore Amber Y445 and I think it's a little lighter than the new one. The new one, 3Y52, actually works better for me. I didn't swatch every shade in store, but I did swatch 3Y54 and actually that shade comes AFTER 3Y52 but it's a neutral and it looks a little lighter on the skin than the 3Y52. I almost bought that one. You might want to try it to see how it looks on you. If not, I think you can still make this one work especially with a brightening concealer and powder. With summer coming up, 3Y52 might come together for you. Thanks for the review! 🥰
Hey, Chelsea! I got a sample of this product yesterday, so your review is timely. The Sephora rep matched me to 3Y46 on the first try. I'm almost positive it's my color, but I want to go up a shade to 3Y52 just to confirm. I wore it all day yesterday & I couldn't stop looking at my face. My skin looked like skin! I never found a match in other MUFE foundations, so I'm happy about this one. I'm going to try it again before I commit to a full bottle. Thank you for this review. You look radiant! 😍

I am very interested in this new formula but like you I have a very hard time finding my shade. You look beautiful so I hope you find your perfect match. I may try to find my shade one ore time. Fingers crossed 🤞
I have dry skin and like you I did not set my face. It was super comfortable on the skin, but I felt like I would still be ok if I was going for a more mattified finish or use a lighter setting powder to set could work as well like Dior backstage or Kosas.
Because the two foundations have different finishes, I'm wondering why this new one couldn't have been launched whilst keeping the existing one available.

Awesome! I think both look good! I got matched at Sephora today and brought a sample of 2Y20 home. Got a sample of Nars in Sahel. I should have enough for 3 applications from each sample. I am thinking I’ll like Nars better, but we’ll see.
Hey Chelsea are you open to try a different shade?I’m thinking that 3Y46 might work better. There’s also a neutral shade that might work.

We tend to be foundation twins 80% of the time so I highly recommend shade 3Y46. It works great for me.

I used to love all make up for ever products before I experienced luxury foundations lol...but this launch peaked my interest...however after watching multiple reviews I see the deeper shades are all orangey which is a huge turn off... Definite pass for me!!!
Thank you for the review I had the original y445 and had issues and didn’t use it. So I had an opportunity to go into a Sephora because I don’t live near one. Girl I was so frustrated with the shade range I walked away 🥺. I don’t plan on trying this one. It look like it wore well.

Great content! I believe we have similar skin tones. I got a sample in the shade 3Y46 warm cinnamon and it seems to match me very well. I wear Y445 in their stick foundation.
I actually did exchange the foundation to shade 3Y46 and it is a much better shade match. 😊
When this ad came out I went in store and I tried 3Y 52 but I am neutral with a little bit of warm so I ended up going with 3N54

honestly, i love the ultra HD ive bought it 4 times before for the reformulation!!! the reason why i love it, its a satin medium to full coverage foundation (it has very very subtle shimmers in it that make the light looks the foundation look soooo flattering on the skin!!! Now that i heard the HD skin is more matte and sef setting foundation.... yeah they dropped the ball sadly
I totally agree with , I’ve been wearing Mufe HD foundation since the first formulation my shade was 173 - it change to Y445 and I liked it as well because it was still kind of a imperceptible foundation.
The new one is too orange
I didn’t like / not worth
