Okay, now I kinda wanna see the full corps play this in the lot. I had friends who marched Jersey Surf, and hearing this really cemented how much I adore their technique and their sound. Love this group for sure.
This makes me sad because ive always wanted to join marching band but the school i was at my freshman year didnt have one and now that im going to another school idk if i can even join it because of covid and also my mom thinks marching band is stupid and idk if id be good enough cause ive played clarinet for like 5 years but i never practiced as much as i should and i just feel like i wouldnt be good enough to join but i really want to and stuff like this makes me wanna cry and i wanna be able to experience this type of stuff
High school marching band isn't supposed to be "formal" where everybody's perfect. When I was in marching band in high school, there were people in the band who were learning a new instrument at the start of the season. You'll be 100% fine, those bands like to foster teamwork and dedication more than being a good player. Yes, chances are you'll find yourself better at clarinet after the season is up, and you'll be learning to be a better player as the time goes, but it's not mandatory for being in the band. Even if you think you won't practice, you'll definitely still learn, improve, and advance from the work. That's a part of learning to be a better musician. There is no "not good enough", trust me. You're always good enough. Now go out there and toot that reed machine on the marching field. (Safely, of course.)
i promise just after one year you’ll see so much improvement in yourself!! it’s not about raw talent it’s about drive and the strength to keep going and getting better
seeing all these replies really make me feel better about joining marching band and im so excited because even if we dont go in person this year, my school counselor said the only way i can get some certain class is if i switched pe with marching band so my mom had to let me join so i guess im part of the way there and im so excited

Man, this makes me wish so badly that I finished high school and went to college. It's ten years later now and I still get sad thinking about the memories I missed out on. Don't get me wrong, I have had a great life full of experiences but this makes me melancholy in a way I didn't know possible.
The sound of entering heaven will be so beyond out comprehension of what amazing sounds like, it’s I’ll be infinitely times better than what this sounds like, God bless🙏
4 Years ago and I still remember this masterpiece. In fact, I always listened this once every 2-3 weeks and sometimes 1-2 months, and can still make me cry and have goosebumps all over me
God I miss band so much now it makes my heart hurt to not be playing with my other members and trying to figure out the notes and the feeling of finally completing a section of the song effortless
Seeing stuff like this is heartwarming asf band isn’t about getting the notes right on beat or just playing a song it’s bigger than that it’s about creating art and every single person in a band is individual with their own set of skills but they’re skills combined with everyone else’s is what makes it become so beautiful everyone is good at a different instrument. It’s the same thing with life I guess u can say everyone is individual with different things they’re good at but if we all worked together we could create something great with all of our skills combined. If only we all realized that

Nothing could've prepared me for what was about to bless my ears
I’m seeing this group tomorrow. It’ll be my first ever DCI show. I’m a percussionist, marching snare player, but man do I admire the brass. 💜✨
how was it?
That last chord is beautiful!! The euphs rock
This makes me miss band🥺 I quit band about a year ago, 2 weeks ago my dad passed away and you know who was there for me? The band kids, you meet so many amazing people in band, I really miss it
I’m sorry :( we’ll always be there
Man Highschool was the Dream man. I'm in College already and it just doesn't feel as free, rejuvenating, and fun like Highschool. I hope Everyone that is Having a Tough time in Highschool, It will get better, My Junior high was literally forgetful but man, The friends I had in Senior High was such a tough thing to let go... Everyone of us Cried in Graduation and we all have now Split apart going to do our own things... I feel blessed my Highschool ended with a Bang, Best graduation I had.
not even a bad kid but this is making me feel something
music is for everyone. much love pal!
you dont have to be a band kid
She once showed me this video with great enthusiasm. How oddly familiar for it to appear seemingly out of nowhere at the same time of year that she showed me all those lifetimes ago. She would have loved it.
this shi heavenly 😭🔥🔥
Okay, now I kinda wanna see the full corps play this in the lot.
I had friends who marched Jersey Surf, and hearing this really cemented how much I adore their technique and their sound. Love this group for sure.
I'm so happy we could share the love!!
This reminded me of how fun band was and how much I miss it 🥺❤️
This is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I’ve ever heard. Thank you for this
Happy to share the love 💕
there are so many beautiful corps that play music to wake up the group and it’s a wholesome moment
“If you want to view paradise, simply look around and view it” beautiful playing. Just beautiful.
This makes me sad because ive always wanted to join marching band but the school i was at my freshman year didnt have one and now that im going to another school idk if i can even join it because of covid and also my mom thinks marching band is stupid and idk if id be good enough cause ive played clarinet for like 5 years but i never practiced as much as i should and i just feel like i wouldnt be good enough to join but i really want to and stuff like this makes me wanna cry and i wanna be able to experience this type of stuff
me too man, me too 😔✌️
Just join. Trust me. Band it’s such an amazing experience. And please practice. It makes you so much better
I miss marching band even if I did it for a year(I couldent afford it even with fundraisers) meeting all these bands from the state, football, games, Competition, having a great time in general
I really miss band but its over for me
こんな美しい曲で目覚められるとか最高だよな…
Perhaps the most beautiful performance of this song ever
imagine waking up to this in the morning every single day. literal organism
When I close my eyes and listen to this it’s just so relaxing, it makes me feel like I’m floating in space
Edit: Thank you guys so much I’ve never had this many likes on UA-cam before 😭❤️
This was our closer for my first year marching. I’m now going into my second year of college with a music scholarship, I miss it. Thank y’all for the nostalgia.
Man, this makes me wish so badly that I finished high school and went to college. It's ten years later now and I still get sad thinking about the memories I missed out on. Don't get me wrong, I have had a great life full of experiences but this makes me melancholy in a way I didn't know possible.
I'm not religious, but if this is what plays at the gates of heaven, boy am I praising jesus
Edit: this isnt church, stop with the replies
The sound of entering heaven will be so beyond out comprehension of what amazing sounds like, it’s I’ll be infinitely times better than what this sounds like, God bless🙏
Corbin Williams I can only imagine
Its a million times better :D
Corbin Williams watch it be like a scream lmaooooo.
imagine this playing as St Peter opens the gates for you and says "welcome home"
I’m so glad I found this video
4 Years ago and I still remember this masterpiece. In fact, I always listened this once every 2-3 weeks and sometimes 1-2 months, and can still make me cry and have goosebumps all over me
God I miss band so much now it makes my heart hurt to not be playing with my other members and trying to figure out the notes and the feeling of finally completing a section of the song effortless
This is making me miss band
The JOY I'm feeling is priceless. Just Magically Beautiful 🥹🥹🥹
Imagine waking up like this everyday
Students are the best thing in this world
Its not students its members of a drum corps
Seeing stuff like this is heartwarming asf band isn’t about getting the notes right on beat or just playing a song it’s bigger than that it’s about creating art and every single person in a band is individual with their own set of skills but they’re skills combined with everyone else’s is what makes it become so beautiful everyone is good at a different instrument. It’s the same thing with life I guess u can say everyone is individual with different things they’re good at but if we all worked together we could create something great with all of our skills combined. If only we all realized that
Where was the algorithm when I needed this?! Holy I got chills all around me dude, and I’m laying here comfortably in bed.. man time sure flys. 😭
this is why i love being in band🤍
