Do you know if there is a kit for the second generation, ram 94-2000?
I see one popping up on Amazon for the 1996-2000 dodge tail gates. Looks like it’s from town and country. If you click on one of the links and adjust your truck year or just search that year range for dodge it should pop up some options
Can you install a second assist unit on right side of the tailgate on a 2017 Ram 1500? the unit still allows a clunk when it opens.
I haven’t tried to yet but if there’s bolts that match the left side then I’d assumed yes obviously. But even if there wasn’t, you could install one since the threads that you use on the tail gate itself are placed in just a hole on the side of the tailgate and you get that piece in the kit. The only thing you’d need to make sure is that there’s a bold for the top of the shock on the truck bed side that is In the right spot.
