I think there should be maybe on eBay if halfords don’t have one , if not you can take out the slider pin holding the top and bottom together and it will separate and may go into your tool box worth a try thanks for watching appreciate your comment
I don’t really know I got it last year when it was on sale before Christmas and that’s how much it was , and I didn’t use a trade card . Thanks for watching 👍
I remember getting my old 200pc black set in 2016/2017 and it was £127.50 it was half price plus an extra code for 15% of tools. At the time they were nearly always half price or heavily discounted. Even though I got the black set (which was a tactical choice) that they don’t sell anymore, I’ve never had an issue yet if I’ve had to swap broken bits. The main ones are t27 that I have issues with, broke it and swapped it went to use it next time on a maf sensor screw and it literally crumbled with no effort. Other thing I like about the old over the new is the size of the box, new are stupid big and heavy in comparison but there’s things in the new set I like over the old, like 3/8 deep sockets are 6 point not 12 point and the 3/8 go slightly lower in size but on the other hand, I get more impact sockets from 13mm to 24mm or the screwdriver bits are in a little box instead of just those sleeve things and ratchet length on the old is slightly shorter which I like, usually I just use a 30cm 3/8 flex head which is perfect but sometimes I need something shorter or 1/2 I use a 45cm flex head but again sometimes need something a little shorter so both have pros and cons. Although THE biggest downside, the old box I get the 4 smallest etorx sockets come out of the holes with no foam in the box but the new one, a lot more bits fall out of place so you have to keep the foam in which is a massive pain In the arse when you work outside and it’s windy
Do you still use this stuff? How's the quality and how are they still doing?. Also what item do you use so you can use the torx from the bottom left of the tool box I'm looking to get a set. Someone is selling a full set for €275
Yes it’s all amazing the kit has everything that you need to work on cars the bits have adapters in there for them to be used with a 1/2 inch or 3/8 ratchet Thanks for your comment really appreciate it
@@TheCrazyGarage yeah. Looks like a great set, only think it's missing is the flex head ratchets but I'll get that seperate. I think I might buy it. The other lad at work has one and he says it's great. If something breaks you can get it replaced but. Not sure if that's true😂 heard mixed reviews of Halfords being bad but if he says that you just being it to them and if it's broke they can replace it or something
Yes they are good at replacing it I had a small torx set and they replaced a couple when they broke If one tool brakes out of the kit I’ll make a video about there warranty 👍👍
I agree they're great sets but the bits bottom left are awful jmo glad to see they're using less 3ach year they slot into an adapter and I pretty much lost all mine down the engine bay haha
Yer it’s not a bad set for all the sockets the only thing I have found wrong with this set is all the torxs bits have rusted a little bit Thanks for watching
Yes they are but they are a totally different price range this kit is so good for this price and has lifetime warranty so you can’t go wrong with this kit
So where is the review ? all you do is show the pieces.
Lost my tools to some five fingers. Hope this will do the trick.
Are there any trays for this set to put the contents in a toolbox? I can only find trays for 150pc sets

Just bought one looks great the staff at halfords claim that the advanced range is made by snap on for halfords.
I really doubt that but I'd certainly be interested in seeing any proof they had.
@@Mr.M1STER i know a fare few people who said the same thing with snap on making halfords tools
@@jordanwilcox4723 Again, I'd love to see proof.
it is true, used to work for Halfords and a Snap On rep told me
@@EazyDuz18 I really do find it hard to believe but it would be nice if it were true because I own a halfords advanced set.
Does it come with a torque wrench with gauge?
No it doesn’t
@@TheCrazyGarage for the price your paying, you'd expect that!
@@SuperOpticJ not at all. It’s a steal as it is decent torque wrenches are around the price of the whole kit lol
NOW £200 getting one tomorrow hopefully less with my trade card
£190 with the trade card
For a 200piece set?
How did you get it so cheap?
Got it when it was on sale around Christmas time
@@TheCrazyGarage thanks! I was wondering if the sale that's on now was worth it. In that case, I'll wait a bit longer and keep an eye on it.
Yes it’s a very good bit of kit hasn’t let me down thanks for your comment really appreciate it
It’s on reduced to £265 how did you get it so Cheep ?

Is it really? Snap-on has gone down in quality by far.
