Like the rods especially the jerk bait rod you're setting up! Still looking to pick up a Daiwa reel to try. Power plant lakes are closed now so mainly hitting ponds which are producing, nothing big but it's still Fun! Thanks for the video!
Good looking rods!!! I have a 6'9" LMH which I use for jerkbaits and love it!! Fishing's slow!!☹Boat's in shop on a recall hope to get it back soon to try and do some fall fishing!!! 🤠👍
I’ve got 4 rods from them a 7’3” MHF magnesium that’s more like a heavy and great frog rod. A 7’6 KLX LMH that’s great for traps and chatter baits and 2 KLX 7’6 Heavy’s for flipping and fishing Big EZ over heavy cover in Florida. The 7’6 LMH is the best all around rod for traps bladed jigs, underspins, and even use it for crank baits
Speaking of the cold fronts, we had one about a week ago. It turned the bite on really good for about a day and then after that the bite has died off completely the last few days. Looking forward to the fall feeding time that’s said to happen soon hopefully.
Congrats on the new sticks! I have the Jerkbait rod and it handles great. FWIW, I did tear the foam at the locking nut while tightening a reel. Probably overdid it, but just something to be aware of. Appreciate and enjoy your content. 👍🏼😎
Hey TJ, fishing is spotty here NW Illinois with these up & down temps. Gonna be a little warmer this week. Hoping for a decent bite. I love my Kistler KLX. If I remember they’re $150. Good stuff!!! Okuma had some killer deals right now👊
The rods are good looking on the site, and seem like a great reliable maker . I’ve been eying a chromium rod but I can’t break my price point on rods. They just don’t break the lower range except for lesser quality . I’ve found Falcons before to work with but can’t get Kistler to budge . Anxious to see the review. Will be watching TJ81. Thanks for this opening
Man, that's a tough one...you can't go wrong with either, but I'm gonna go with the Zbone because I've had more time with it, but that Zillion is such an awesome rod as well...just get both! 🤣
I dont use short grip sections for any jerkbait style bait, popper or walking bait. You have to work harder with the short butt section. Physics comes into play lol. To long youre right they are cumbersome, to short like that one, you work harder. Theres a fine line to the best length and it varies with each person due to arm length.
Fishing has been great on the California Delta for the last 5 weekends, maybe have 2 more before the Cali cold kicks in. Thanks for sharing the new rods. I’m due for some new rods, really looking for a pitching specific rod. 😎🤙💪🔥🎣🤛🏻🪚✌🏻

I like that Crestliner boat. I picked up a 2019 Model 19'
Only had 26 Hours.
Tons of room.
Yup, huge front deck!

Don't have Kistler rods, but I will watch your videos and support the channel any way I can. 👍
Better not get one! 😉🤣
Nice Rods!! Here in North Carolina, our lakes are full of debris because all the flooding!! no fishing
Oh man! We could use some more rain here.
Kistler makes nice rods. And the people are the best there is to work with.

Good video Jim, nice rods 👍
Thanks man! 👊
Nice CORK HANDLE RODS
💯
I had a brand new Z Bone break at a guide on the 2nd cast. They replaced it free, but its not something you should see on a 550$ rod
Good guys over there!
Kistler rods are great. My favorite series is the Helium LTA. Would like to afford a Nitranium
Love the Helium as well! 👊💪
It's been slow here in Georgia for me. Nothing but small ones.
Been a rough year!
I’m replacing all my rods currently with the Heliums. They weigh like 3.5oz and the sensitivity is unreal!
Great choice! 👊💪
Great Rods!
I’ve been trying to decide for weeks whether to get the Kistler Z Bone 7’3 MH or the Daiwa Zillion 7’3 MH, which one would you say is better?
Man, that's a tough one...you can't go wrong with either, but I'm gonna go with the Zbone because I've had more time with it, but that Zillion is such an awesome rod as well...just get both! 🤣
I got the Jerkbait…go back and forth on whether I like it or the Expride more for Jerkbaits
I need to grab an Expride.
Can you through an under spin on monofilement line
Yup, you can toss anything with mono...it may not be the best for everything, but you can toss everything with it.
Although 95percent of my rods are one piece I dont mind a decent 2 piece sometimes. Anyway I love being a tackle junky. 💪🎣😁
Both of these are 1 piece, but I do believe my panfish rods are 2 pieces. 👊💪
Never tried a kistler before
You'll dig em! 👊💪
I’m sure big mike will give them a good test lol
The heck he will! 🤣🤣🤣
👍
👊💪
Do they fill those rods with gas fumes to make them lighter?
I have no clue.
Yes, they inject them with helium to lighten them, be sure to use slightly heavier reels though, I’ve had a few float away.
@@-MAX813- hey very funny, I broke a tip on one and it weighed a pound heavier haha 🤣
I am going to tell her. Lol
🤣🤣🤣
💪💪💪💪💪
👊💪
Have you ever considered building your rods?
Possibly one day I'll look into that.
