  • I did NOT expect to find a new Challenge so soon after the New Season Challenge, especially since there were the Japanese Tournament Qualifiers in between! There was nothing listed on the SplatNet 3 schedule after the Qualifiers, so I just checked the following day anyway to see what’s next, only to find out the first session was already underway. So what you’re seeing here is the SECOND session. This is the schedule in Pacific Daylight Time:
    June 5th, 2024: 7 PM to 9 PM, 11 PM to June 6th at 1 AM
    June 6th, 2024: 3 AM to 5 AM, 7 AM to 9 AM, 11 AM to 1 PM, 3 PM to 5 PM
As you might have figured, the only weapons allowed are those with the Ultra Stamp. Currently, there are eight of them (and there may be just eight, considering this is the final season): the Sploosh-o-matic, Luna Blaster Neo, L-3 Nozzlenose D, Inkbrush Nouveau, Custom Goo Tuber, Mini Splatling, Wellstring V, and Splatana Wiper. In addition, the special meter charges with both time and inking, rather than just inking, allowing you to use Ultra Stamps many times per match.
This is not the first Challenge themed on a special weapon to have the “Rally” suffix, as Reefslider Rally preceded this one. However, it seems to be a coincidence rather than theme naming, as “Reefslider Rally” is an alliteration, whereas “Ultra Stamp Rally” refers to a stamp rally.
The mode is Tower Control, and the stages are Manta Maria and Marlin Airport.
    00:32 - Match #1
    Manta Maria
    Tower Control (Ultra Stamp Rally)
    Sploosh-o-matic
    Color Scheme: Blueberry Lemonade
    Song: “Paintscraper” by C-Side
Of those eight weapons, the Sploosh-o-matic is the one I’m most comfortable with. As it seems though, so were many other people playing this Challenge, with some way better than me at it. Of course, that bend where the tower is at approximately 30 units left is a bloodbath due to it being so easily defended. I also got caught on a ramp, using an Ultra Stamp, that I’m sure wasn’t there before, but I’m guessing is a change done at the beginning of this season.
    06:12 - Match #2
    Manta Maria
    Tower Control (Ultra Stamp Rally)
    Splatana Wiper
    Color Scheme: Wario
Song: “Sandy Side Up” by Front Roe
I decided to switch to the Splatana Wiper. I don’t get the Curling Bombs I like to use, but I do get Torpedoes, which help identify hiding opponents. As it seems, I happen to find myself with three other users of this weapon and no Sploosh-o-matic users. Go fig.
    11:50 - Match #3
    Manta Maria
    Tower Control (Ultra Stamp Rally)
    Splatana Wiper
    Color Scheme: Lakers
Song: “Ripstop & Go” by H2Whoa
Despite not doing so well in that previous match, I decided to stick with the Splatana Wiper anyway, as it usually takes me a match or two to get my head in gear with it if I hadn’t used it in a while, like with the Splatana Wiper, which I hadn’t used since I was on Team Spicy in January 2023’s Splatfest. For some reason, I kept encountering teammates who, instead of paying attention to what’s going on with the tower, would wander as close to the opposing spawn as possible, then double back around. I’m guessing this is that mindless style I usually see associated with Splatfests.
    17:30 - Match #4
    Marlin Airport
    Tower Control (Ultra Stamp Rally)
    Splatana Wiper
    Color Scheme: Action Movie Poster
    Song: “Seasource” by SashiMori
FINALLY I get one of the new songs in one of these videos. SashiMori has returned for Splatoon 3’s final season with two more songs, and this is one of them. The other…has censor bleeping, which I find hilarious. There were moments when two or three people on our team were on the tower. I decided I’d stay on, because I knew some of them were bound ti disembark from there once they got their Ultra Stamps.

Hmm... I noticed something strange. You mentioned five matches in the description, but in the video, there's only four. This could either be an description error, or an editing error. But either way, I'll tell you my reactions are for the matches.
Match 1 - Well then, I feel like the main gimmick of the Ultra Stamp Rally is the hammers that splat out ink.
Match 2 - I like how you used the hammer thing (or whatever it's called) for a good streak at 8:10. Bad spawning opportunity at 9:26 though.
The rest of the matches went fine. I don't play Splatoon, so I really don't know what is going on at first.

Thank you for spotting that--that was a remnant from a previous video description. I type them up separately from UA-cam (due to the chance that the uploader stops working or the description gets corrupted, which happens occasionally), and I accidentally copied and pasted that bit onto there. That explains why I was so close to the 5000-character limit. I've removed it from this video's description now.
Those hammers are known as Ultra Stamps, hence the name of this Challenge. Everyone is required to use a weapon that has the Ultra Stamp, and the rules were changed so you can use them more often than in a normal match.

    Match 1- 2:45- Nice aim!
Match 2, 3- Is it just me, or were there a lot of players using the Sploosh-o-Matic and the Splatana Wipers in this video? Also, match #3 was pretty close and intense.
Match 4- Your team dominated the match when they were making a 2nd push to reach the goal in your opponent's territory.

The Sploosh-o-matic and Splatana Wipers are the two most straightforward, easy-to-use weapons in this game, so I wouldn't be surprised for them to be the most common weapons. Sploosh-o-matic is used far more often, however, and it's hard to tell if they're going to be very good or very bad with the weapon. It's the most straightforward, but it isn't the easiest one to use. Some people think it's like an Aerospray, but it really isn't.
