Hope you and your family are doing okay. Thank you for showing us the tools and items you use that are required for decorating- this was very useful to know and informative. Take care.

I see the green paste bucket is still your weapon of choice…. Been a good bucket that 👍👍 room looked really good from the last video I saw. It always amazes me how much kit we decorators and tradesmen actually have. Sorted my van out yesterday and the stuff I’ve got amazes me. I like to be organised so everything has its place ha! Keeping it organised is another story! Take care matey! Marc

Yes a great bucket can't believe it's lasting. The big clean after most jobs. Always cleaning ready for the next job. Having a van is great for being more organised.
      👍

Thank you, we worked with my dad a lot. Difficult when everything reminds you of what he did and taught you. But at the same time helps you carry on. Best dad.

I think you only need one tool….your multipurpose filler knife, scrapper, cutter, leveller, paint remover. If you put a brush head on it you’ve cracked it🤣. Well done for sharing your expertise at these difficult times.

Iv been a Decorator 25 yrs and your very good at your job. Cpl off things..1..it would be probably more cost effective for the customer for a plasterer to have reskimmed that room compared to what it's cost for you to do all that prepping/lining etc. 2... I can't believe your not using a dustless sanding set up like mirka or festool..why ?.. work smarter not harder these days 👍

@@PaintingandDecorating sales pitch ??. I'm just surprised you haven't invested in a dustless sanding set up. I waved good bye to sanding walls/woodwork by hand 3 yrs ago, best thing I ever did. Better for my health and the customers house is not full off dust. Happy painting 👍

Yep we are just glorified cleaners
I spend the first 3 hrs cleaning down. When I really want to just some paint on.
I know you fell my pain😁

Albany oil satin is really good had some in the workshop at back of shelf no uv light been there around 5 years and its still white on the tin couldn't believe it dulux trade oil satinwood been in there same time has gone completely yellow Albany oil gloss had a tin in there around 2 years and still white dulux trade gloss went yellow in 6 months or so and albany oil paints don't skin neither no oil paint what ive got in the there as stayed as white as long as albany. mean if Albany oil satin and gloss can stay white for that long without uv then may as well go back to oil based paints

I think Hamilton are discontinuing their pure bristle brushes in place of a shorter stiffer synthetic brush

Pure bristle brushes will always be used.
We certainly will always buy them. Plenty on sale.

You can’t beat 2 pac filler and all purpose poly filler. I can’t get on with all these toupret fillers for this and that. Keep it simple 👍
