- My Tonka Winnebago RC conversion project takes a step forward. Using the Gmade GS02 chassis and some Boom Racing axles & wheels, I have a good base for this big rig.

RC4WD ZT0136 Trail Rider are qute narrow Not sure of the height though.
OD: 4.41in / 112mm
Width: 1.64in / 41.6mm
Hi Lee. Thanks for the info, it's much appreciated. The tyres you mentioned are actually slightly larger than the Gmade tyres I have during this video. Not to worry, I've now sorted some ideal tyres. Cheers!
Hi m8 the suspension there couple things u could look at u could lay shocks along chassie u get kits n they work grate or u could get shorter shock n lower shock hoops but still have same travel or u could put shocks at a angle n u get bit more travel but lower m8 also depending on wheels u can turn some off them back to frunt so deep part in m8
Hey David. Yeah, I've been looking into suspension options. The rears will be sorted, no worries. For the fronts, I've been looking for shorter shock hoops, but couldn't find any. You wouldn't happen to know of any? The other option could be very short shocks and mount to the chassis rails. We have options!
Yeah, those wheels can be reversed, just as you said. Unfortunately, these ones only give 2mm and they look awful when you do it!
@@TheRCScotsman hi m8 u could try movein tha shock towers Mack n have them at an angles or what u think shorter n mount to chassie with spacer to make them straight or cantyliver al round ur still get movement but make it level on top or make ur own out off carbon fibre bout 3 mm thick then brake across like u done on back m8 crotch build not that easy iv done couple with proper brain teasers n stressful hahaha m8

Ohhh yes!
I think the tires that you using now should be good I think you're wrong. I like the look better. It mines me of something that would have run around in the Arctic.
Unfortunately, they are larger than the wheel arches. They would just bind-up, all the time. But if you like them, I can tell you that the MT1903 tyres are really good and have loads of grip.
Any updates on axle width/tire clearance?
Yes. I went for the Boom Racing BRX80 conversion kits. The bRX80 axles are the perfect width.
