Consistent characters and corresponding consistent style is something we all want. This would make Midjourney the real number one. But they keep beating around the bush. If this becomes reality, we can make really crazy things. Especially if the image to video also improves.
The next few months should be a lot of fun!
Consistent characters are essential for storytelling purposes. Also important are:
- Posing multiple characters together in an image
- Copying a pose from an image, and putting our consistent character in that pose
Admittedly I haven’t used V6 much but I’ve been getting some weird limbs on people again, and sometimes more than one “signature” on the images. Weird limbs as in extra arms or legs, misplaced or unnaturally angled. Haven’t had to deal with problems like that for quite a while. Anyone else?
I think it's just the nature of the slot machine! You can try using the Variation buttons and I think some of the weird stuff will get corrected

Did u see the new video AI where you draw boxes around the area on the image, then draw guide lines. Looks amazing. Demo of man eating cheesburger. [ckick on hand - click on head area + prompt, AI does the rest]... Really good
Yah that box interface is a really intuitive way to 'plan' movement! I wonder style of control Midjourney will use for their video feature
@@FutureTechPilot The video in mj makes me tremble, i hope its not stage 1 like when runwayml started. Its goto have all the camera pans and brushes otherwise seems redundant :(

Consistent characters and styles are the #1 thing that would make Midjourney the top AI image generator. If Dalle or Stable Diffusion beats them to the punch I'd probably cancel my Midjourney subscription until they solidly implement it.

do you have any videos that help it learn. I can not get it to draw a scorpion to save its life. do i do more referance photos or is it just my prompts?
unfortunately there really isn't much you can do. It depends on the data set the bot was trained on. But maybe try adding a higher image weight with the reference pictures like --iw 3

the problem for web migration is the web generations are not synced with discord
I'm not sure what you mean. Everything you make on Discord shows up on the Website, just not the reverse

Hi Nolan, How are you today my friend ?I want to make small cartoon videos but I want to know something please since the video shot is a group of photos , frames Is there a way in Midjourney to give it a photo reference and the action I want to be made and Midjourney makes let's say 30 consistent photos or frames to make the shot, I take the 30 photos and put it in any video editing program and make the scene? etc. etc. thank you.

I think a lot of great things are going to happen!...
But just like @deronnyz writes. If consistent characters and their consistent style were really well developed, that would be fantastic. I still can't find a really good way to generate the same character or item in MJ

When I heard that they were working on version 7 before version six was completed, I predicted that version six would be inadequate in terms of consistency. However, if version 6 is a milestone for version 7, I do not think we will wait as long as version six for version 7.
I just think it's cool that they tell us any of this 😂
