- We chat with Croatia's Eurovision 2024 rockstar Baby Lasagna after his second rehearsal here in Malmö, Sweden. We met at Teya Dora's birthday party. He tells us about his rehearsals, explains why he changed the shoulders on his costume, describes writing his first children's book and discusses how the message of his song has been received by Croatians.

Croatia never won as an independent state, under our flag. And we haven't been in top 5 for 20 years. That's why we are so proud of Marko this year, he made a song that at least has a chance of winning, unlike other songs we sent throughout the years.
I would love him to win, but if he doesn't, that's perfectly fine. We will enjoy seeing him on stage and he will have our support, no matter what, because we know he will do the best he can and he will leave his heart on that stage ❤
What comes after Eurosong is more important. The best prize for him is that he is being recognized and axccepted as artist, gaining many fans who will support him after all this ends. 😊

No matter how it all ended, we should be proud of Mark's journey from Dora to Malmo. Everything was done properly, I think they are doing their best and that is the most important thing. The winner is always decided by a lot of things that he cannot influence, so whatever. It's already a winner for us.

I still can't believe he was just a first reserve for Dora. And this was the largest Dora in decades, with 2 semifinals, so he wouldn't even be an alternative usually, that's insane. What an icredible story, I'm so proud of him.

Marko is calm out of stage, but once he is on the stage, he transforms 1000%. All what is in him before stage wich is boiling inside him, suddenly comes out like volcano. Two different personalities in one: first, nice young man from small beautiful coastal town Umag, second is musician like fire, storm. All what was boiling in him comes out like explosion! yesterday I was at one of the largest wedding parties in terms of the number of guests. The band played the rim tim tagi dim end oh God what a vibe it created, screaming, chanting and even those who didn't dance couldn't resist that beat. You just can't keep still. I don't belive in odds as a way to predict final scoreboard positions, but it's good indicator about the quality of performance.
Only CRO and NL had major changes in their %.
NL went down hard after rehersals, -6%, CRO rose again to first place, +5%.
