I have the same plug-in extender that you've shown. To me it's a no-brainer. Rather than going to the trouble installing the 4-outlet receptacle. I can just plug in the extender and lock it in with the center screw. Not only does it have one more outlet, but it also provides surge protection and USB charging capabilities. Not to mention the better price.

Thanks for the video! I have a quick question- I have an issue if my vertical blinds of window not closing properly. In my case, I am having those vertical slat blinds and I have 2 issues and would greatly appreciate your response!
    (1) In my living room window blinds, only 1 out of the total 9 blinds move when I pull the rope attachment. The remaining 8 blinds just stop moving along with the first one after 2 seconds of pulling my rope attachment so there is this huge gap created when I close the blind and sunlight comes right in.What to do about it?
    (2) For my bedroom window blinds, i ma having the same issue but in this case 4 out of 9 blinds move after pulling the rope attachment. The remaining 5 just won’t move at all after a while so it creates a wide gap and sunlight comes right in. How to solve this issue?
Thanks ahead of time for your response🙏

Hi, could you show me how to update a regular electric receptacle with one that has the usb charging option in it. Also would one of these be safe in a wet area ie. next to kitchen sink and bathroom. Many thanks and love your vids!

i have something like the second method. the problem with these is they need to make an alternative or improved version with screws at the top and bottom for most other consumer outlets.

I found a receptacle outlet plug with 8 wire hole on top the oven. Basically is feeding another plug used for the dishwasher . I tried to change the outlet plug with a new design but the breaker panel is jumped. What I'm doing wrong?

I just use outlet adapters and or extension cords.

First you make sure that the tester is working properly by ether going to another outlet or just leave the breaker on then you can turn the breaker off then test the outlet to insure the power is off then after the outlet is removed then you can reconnect the ground wire first then reconnect the white neutral wire next then you can reconnect the black wire and remember always go clock wise so when you tightening the screw it will not awn twine the wire during tightening the screw then put the outlet back in just fold the wire so it will not interfere when replacing the wall outlet then the outlet cover then go turn the breaker back on

This design seems like it would have a higher chance of the ground wire contacting the hot terminal.

You incorrectly wrapped the hot and neutral wires counterclockwise. They should be wrapped clockwise, like you wrapped the ground wire. The screws turn clockwise to tighten and will increase the tightness of the wrap. Wrapping counterclockwise will cause the wires to move out as you tighten the terminal screws and lessen the integrity of the connection.

Normally I would agree with you but, on that particular device, there's a retaining hole the end of the wire tucks into. The instructions with the device say to do just like he did. That's also why the wire has to be stripped longer.
