When you said God is always balanced with these things, it made a lot of sense. God is neither a chauvinist nor feminist. It is us that have chosen to misinterpret scriptures to emphasize the role of our partners instead of focusing on our roles. When the man is a leader after the order of Christ, he won't need to remind his wife that he is the head. Likewise, when a lady is submissive to her own husband, she won't need to remind her husband to love her. Each person should just focus on their roles. When the man is doing his best to love his wife as Christ loves the church, and the wife is doing her best to submit to her husband as unto the Lord, we will have more Kingdom marriages. Falling of the society. I'm not in the West but what I have observed is that most of those are non believers. What the pastor is preaching is applicable only to active Christians. So I have seen a lot of active Christians in the West live well according to the Holy Bible. That's why there is a concept of liberalism and conservatism in almost all spheres of life like marriage, politics, economics etc. These things are not in Africa.
