What do we do with bank job transfers, it's not possible to move with each other always
submission comes naturally when you have a man who loves,respect you,cares for you and as women we enjoy it. the bible says women be submissive to your husbands,husbands love your wives.for submission to be there,there has to be love(love entails respect,patient,care,consideration etc) as a woman,when u meet a man,submission comes,if that man fails to love you,respect you,what comes after in a woman who is trying to be submissive to a difficult husband is dying inside emotionally in the name of being submissive or be an angry woman.men need to understand that submission is earned by loving your wives.submission should come naturally with love not submit because u have to while in your heart your are saying a different thing.I wish when pastors teach about submission to wives, they may teach men to love and respect their women.

for Lizzy...I have to disagree with your discourse. Firstly pastors did not write the Bible and it is not your pastor's wisdom in this instruction. the bible is God-breathed. like the man of God said, we can do it our way or the way of truth which is the word of God. this verse reads 'women submit' that comes first before 'men love ' your submission to the man comes first because you are submitted to Jesus, not because the man loves you. If we are not submitted to Jesus, then we will use our own strength and worldly wisdom to run our marriage, and we will become fearful ( like Peter says) when the man is not doing his part. And fear shows up in many ways; frustration, anger, bitterness and pride. the bible says this christian walk is not by might or power, but by the spirit of Jesus. We can learn from what he said about Sarah, and Vashti, and Ester. And remember that God always opposes the proud, but he gives grace to the humble 😊. we are all learning and growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior. If we do our part, in humility, according to God's instruction, he will vindicate us in our marriage eventually. He will have your back. To do you good😊
Try and reread that whole chapter of 1 Peter 3, and remember it is God speaking to you through Peter, and also we don't change people, it is the work of the Holy Spirit

A Nigerian worship singer just recently died because of submitting to domestic violence at the hands of her husband who happens to be a pastor. Submission isn't unto death
It isn't. There are extreme beliefs in the church circles which aren't substantial. However, that doesn't negate the instruction to submit, as unto the Lord. (Ephesians 5:22). In other words, what is pleasing to Him

this is Taka Esther again I meant if He was born again I kindly need scriptural proof because submission is to even a non -believer as unto the Lord(Ephesians 5:22)
