💯 So funny, I did the EXACT same thing last night. Launched D4. Stared at my toons for 5 minutes then shut it down. Logged in a few minutes later and grinded vaults for a couple hours. Just not feeling it right now.

Every season is going to be farming mats and doing duriels ultimately. Pathetic state of existence.
Ya I feel a lot of what you’re saying. I’m trying my best to have fun with season 3 but it is getting repetitive and I’m not looking forward to doing the same thing over and over again. Maybe when the guantlet comes out it might be good? I went back to playing some Sekiro right now.
I hope they turn it around, I really do. I think the grind is the hardest thing for these types of games to manage.

My plan is to play last epoch and by the time i get bored with it Diablo 4 will be a complete game by then.
And here is me, just bought d4 and started hc char. Kinda interesting now, but waiting for LE
I mean the first few playthroughs are fun, don't get me wrong.
Only thing that keeps me playing D4 is creating my own builds and not following “NEW BEST BILLION DAMGE BONESPEAR” type of builds lmao
Saying that im buying last epoch since i got like 1200-1300 hours in diablo 4 played. This sorc im leveling upm now is my weird build nobody made one like it lol.
Want a good singleplayer game I would suggest Armored Core 6. Not sure if you're into mechs or hard games but they went above and beyond with that. Guess and example is customization for your mech is each AC is made up of 8 parts and each part has 5 sub parts you can paint separately if you want and they just give you true color so 16 million colors you can choose from instead of dropping the $25 blue dlc. This doesn't even get into emblems. Does any of this effect? No but every part of the game has at least that much care put into it.
I actually have Armored Core 6 on my wishlist, I just have never got into Mechs all that much.
It's fine, it will get better as time goes.

D4 is such wasted potential. I really liked playing through the story. However, the endgame is just so unbelievably bad. Your character feels exactly the same from the time you get your first set of full legos for a build until you stop playing. It completely ruins any sense of power fantasy that is necessary in ARPGs. Every ARPG that has tried to slow gameplay down has failed. I was hoping maybe D4 would buck that trend but it seems to still hold true.

Don't forget Diablo 3 hit a home run with Reaper of souls. It made Diablo 3 10 times better specifically the end game. That MIGHT happen with the Diablo 4 expansion.

Constructive criticism brother: I listened to you in 2x speed and you still sounded slow, so much empty space. Be more articulate and offer more discussion other than "I'm bored" for the first half. You started to delve into the why of your boredom past the halfway point but then I was nearly checked out.
Thank you for the comment! It's honestly something I have always struggled with in a public speaking scenario, I'm either talking to fast or to slow and seems hard for me to find a happy medium at times, but I'm always trying to find that balance!

I got there after 1 week. It's the EXACT SAME thing as Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. It's a grindfest for WHAT? Like, what is the end goal of the grind? Nothing. There's no end goal. It's an eternal grind and it's BORING. There's NO reason to play Diablo 4. Once you've done it.. you've done it. The ridiculous grind that they EXPECT from their community is what infuriates me more than anything. Go play some other games. Palworld is great fun. Last Epoch is great fun. There are so many games that are FUN which can give you thousands of hours of content for your fans.

But ye once I tried Hardcore there is no way back to playing softcore. You actually need to build chars in hardcore cant play 1 shot glass cannon so all them guides are fucking useless and you end up playing with what you got.
LOL you never made it to 100 in hc ?? While im typing this im leveliung up 3rd THIRD HARDCORE SORC this season. One died at 90 due to bug would have had 4x100 sorc leveled up in season 3. think i have 7x100 sroc cause dont play other classes and dont want to since diablo 1 :D
I'm not a huge Hardcore fan, I never have been, but that is how my buddy and I are still getting some enjoymnet out of the game when new seasons drop. For the most part.
