Re 4 week task: Thats insane. I actually worked with Tim at Carbine (after the whiteboard thing, before ship) It would be at most a 1 week task for out-of-school junior in their first 2 months. For staff (the job between junior and senior) and senior, its a 1 day task, but plus various corporate meetings and other crap you have to do 1 or 2 days for that task, which includes testing, making sure it works in any difficult situations, etc

Does it have a pause screen in Solo play?

It is dlc, when you buy the deluxe version of dishonored 2 you get the death of the outsider. Its just they wanted people to be able to just play it on its own.

Just a few things: 1. I don't think Death of the outsider ever retailed for the typical cost of $60, I think it was only $30 at its highest 2. I believe it was originally intended to be DLC for Dishonored 2, which is probably why it feels that way. (For reference Knife of Dunwall + Brigmore witches have 6 missions but DOTO just has 5) 3. I think the blink being different is by design. Corvo, Emily and Daud all had unique blinks so I think it makes sense. From a lore perspective I don't think Billy gets her powers from the outsider so it kinda makes sense. If you miss it tho the new game + swaps out her powers for Blink, Domino and dark vision Overall I'd agree with your main points tho. This game also removed the chaos system so the only real choice is the one right at the end, which definitely hurts replayability

For the price it better be nearly as big as Diablo 4 itself.

This trailer is so ....... amazing. It goes to show Blizzard's team when it comes to cinematics is above all. I've commented this on multiple reaction videos. Blizzard NEEDS to immerse themselves in the animated storytelling. They need to get on this! NETFLIX or AMAZON will take y'all up on it I guarantee it!

Cool video dude. This is a game I have been waiting to play. Will be doing Diablo4 new season first but when that is done I will be diving into Last Epoch so this was a nice watch. I do have a question regarding the movement though. Is there an option for wasd movement? I really dislike point and click or follow the mouse movement games. Its the only reason I couldn't get into Grim Dawn.

From what I've seen, most of the "outrage" is manufactured by late 20's youtubers that don't really understand common marketing/business practices. Sure, there is an argument that it should be in the game free, but it isn't. Their whole argument is exactly like saying, "Geez, I spent $600 on the lego Harry Potter Hogwarts, I should get any reskin of Hogwarts characters for free."

My plan is to play last epoch and by the time i get bored with it Diablo 4 will be a complete game by then.

The thing "you have to understand" is that 1. no one would care if the game had desirable goals and/or cool mount skins to work for, built in. They add another to the store as an alternative? Sure, why not. 2. This is when people realized that they'll never get what they want and Blizzard spat in their (our) faces. Anything people express they want to have (to work towards) is going to end up in the shop and instantly loose it's value. They'll NEVER add things that people want into the game.

It's fine, it will get better as time goes.

D4 is such wasted potential. I really liked playing through the story. However, the endgame is just so unbelievably bad. Your character feels exactly the same from the time you get your first set of full legos for a build until you stop playing. It completely ruins any sense of power fantasy that is necessary in ARPGs. Every ARPG that has tried to slow gameplay down has failed. I was hoping maybe D4 would buck that trend but it seems to still hold true.

I got there after 1 week. It's the EXACT SAME thing as Diablo 2 and Diablo 3. It's a grindfest for WHAT? Like, what is the end goal of the grind? Nothing. There's no end goal. It's an eternal grind and it's BORING. There's NO reason to play Diablo 4. Once you've done it.. you've done it. The ridiculous grind that they EXPECT from their community is what infuriates me more than anything. Go play some other games. Palworld is great fun. Last Epoch is great fun. There are so many games that are FUN which can give you thousands of hours of content for your fans.

Only thing that keeps me playing D4 is creating my own builds and not following “NEW BEST BILLION DAMGE BONESPEAR” type of builds lmao

But ye once I tried Hardcore there is no way back to playing softcore. You actually need to build chars in hardcore cant play 1 shot glass cannon so all them guides are fucking useless and you end up playing with what you got.

Saying that im buying last epoch since i got like 1200-1300 hours in diablo 4 played. This sorc im leveling upm now is my weird build nobody made one like it lol.

LOL you never made it to 100 in hc ?? While im typing this im leveliung up 3rd THIRD HARDCORE SORC this season. One died at 90 due to bug would have had 4x100 sorc leveled up in season 3. think i have 7x100 sroc cause dont play other classes and dont want to since diablo 1 :D

Ya I feel a lot of what you’re saying. I’m trying my best to have fun with season 3 but it is getting repetitive and I’m not looking forward to doing the same thing over and over again. Maybe when the guantlet comes out it might be good? I went back to playing some Sekiro right now.

💯 So funny, I did the EXACT same thing last night. Launched D4. Stared at my toons for 5 minutes then shut it down. Logged in a few minutes later and grinded vaults for a couple hours. Just not feeling it right now.

Don't forget Diablo 3 hit a home run with Reaper of souls. It made Diablo 3 10 times better specifically the end game. That MIGHT happen with the Diablo 4 expansion.

Want a good singleplayer game I would suggest Armored Core 6. Not sure if you're into mechs or hard games but they went above and beyond with that. Guess and example is customization for your mech is each AC is made up of 8 parts and each part has 5 sub parts you can paint separately if you want and they just give you true color so 16 million colors you can choose from instead of dropping the $25 blue dlc. This doesn't even get into emblems. Does any of this effect? No but every part of the game has at least that much care put into it.

Through the glory of hindsight, it fell from orbit straight onto it's face. 125 million $ game and there are indie games with higher peak player numbers. Sad though EA's take away is single player fps just don't sell and not bad game is bad.

Constructive criticism brother: I listened to you in 2x speed and you still sounded slow, so much empty space. Be more articulate and offer more discussion other than "I'm bored" for the first half. You started to delve into the why of your boredom past the halfway point but then I was nearly checked out.

I realized I miss spoke about the GREEN BAR above your red health bar. This bar once full will give you another relic charge not "over heal" due to the Primary Medic clas being selected. So, the idea is to heal up to close to max health everytime you notice your health is falling, because you have a large amount of relics to use.
