I was on a 2015 ninja 300 I bought in 2020, rode it for two years out on 26k miles. I sold that bike and was about to buy a 400, but yesterday I went down and bought a 24 Ninja 500 KRT SE yesterday, taking delivery on Thursday, can’t wait for the upgrade

I just had my brand new 2023 ninja 400 wrecked by a reckless driver while it was parked. Direct impact involving 4 more vehicles. Including my friends ninja 400. not even 1500km on it. I was walking to it with my friend, had I left 2 minutes earlier I would've been dead on impact. Appreciate everything guys.
Just upgraded from the ninja 250 to 400. It's a great leap forward to the 400 . I might enjoy the tft display but can't see how it would be much better.
Very nice step forward! I can't say with integrity that it would be worth it for you to move into the Ninja 500 SE just for the TFT display unless you are absolutely, positively, 100% content with the power output of the Ninja 400. If you ever want more at any point, it'd be more wise to move up to the Ninja 650 which also gets the TFT and a nice dose of increased power. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 😎
@@solomaster8702 Hey, great question. While I don't have access to a Ninja 500 at this moment to set up a test like that, it's reasonable to say the Ninja 500 could obtain speeds of 200KM/H given the right conditions. For those reading this who don't know KM/H, that is roughly 125MPH.
SPRING 2024 REVZILLA GIVEAWAY - also thank you very much for this detailed comparison video especially going into the 250,300,400,500 because I owned a 250 and am going to purchase a 500 next paycheck… knowing the comparison helped a ton
Kawasaki still has the 400 up on their website though ? If its axed whys it there? Also looking at the perfect first bike the 500 looks nice. Sounds good with an exhaust change. Weird question can you put a fatter tire on the stock rim and it work? Slightly wider not alot
Hey, great question. Kawasaki still has the Ninja 400 on their website as a *2023* model. If you look at the Ninja 500 you'll notice it is listed as the 2024 model. The Ninja 400 will not stick around on their website much longer. The Ninja 500 carries the torch very well! You can put a slightly wider tire on it, but you may notice slightly slower handling and slower acceleration with the larger rotating mass and unsprung weight. Hope this answers your questions completely. Thanks for watching and ride safe. 😎
getting my permit this week and then i'm buying a ninja 500. After seeing this video it seems like i should definitely buy the SE. Also what is the smart activation system? Is that like a push start for bikes?
Congrats on your permit and good luck with your purchase! The smart key works like a FOB in a car. You have a similar FOB that will alert the bike you are within close enough range where you can power the bike on. The ignition is just a small piece that you twist to power the system on. then you hit your ignition button, and voila! It’ll be alive. Thanks for watching! Ride safe. 😎
Spring 2024 Revzilla Giveaway. Honestly, I don't see myself getting a ninja personally. I'm not super big on the full fairing bikes, even though I love the 450SS's looks and standard offerings, and I'm more into cruisers and naked bikes. If you ask me, the fact you STILL have to pay extra for that SE model to get almost all the offerings the 450SS offers from the freaking factory, for almost 1K less, is a bit ridiculous. The big four need to take a hard look at what consumers want and what the new kid on the block is offering, and find out where they're messing up. Yes, the Ninja is an icon in the motorcycle world... but when you have a company offering standard tft dashes, standard abs, standard frame sliders, standard navigation, standard LED lights, and a huge list of other things the big four make you pay extra for... how long will it realistically take for consumers to shift away?
Entered. Motorcycles and cars are obviously not the same industry, but we can look at car companies like Kia/Hyundai who initially did not have the trust of American consumers. Through the power of offering best warranties in the industry and value being delivered at lower prices, the two car OEMs eventually earned the trust of American consumers and now they are some of the best selling vehicles on the roadways. It took them about 15-20 years to establish themselves as such, and I estimate it would take a motorcycle manufacturer equally as long, if not a bit longer since they produce on a smaller scale. CFMOTO is possibly the largest point of contention in the world of powersports OEMs right now. We are living through the "early adoption" phase of their existence and hopefully we get to live into the peak of their lifecycle as they grow and American consumers put their faith in them. Thanks for watching!
I had an 06 Ninja 250r which I had a little modified, I went off the road and into the ground at 95 mph after owning it for a month, I have more details but this just a comment not a true story or a fact of something severe happening to me but I miss riding even though I don't remember ever riding or walking.

Hey, thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the content. Your entry for the giveaway is a bit late, but I am also late getting the winner announced, so count it! Entered.
Based on the cost you would incur trying to add all of the bonus items that the SE models come with, I feel it is worth the price increase to go for that trim package if you are thinking you will want them at some point down the road. The value is there, but it's ultimately up to you to decide if it's worth it to you. If you can get by without all of the add-ons, just go for a base model. If you want a bike with a few more features and protection, go for the SE model. Thanks for watching! Ride safe. 😎
I have a zx4rr and to save money I was gonna switch to a 500 I wish the krt 500 came with the sliders n cowl tho I do have a cowl on my zx4rr. Financially struggling so I had to go for the cheaper bike is it a mistake?
Staying within your budget is never a mistake. If you can be on 2-wheels and be financially stable, you're winning in my book! Thanks for watching and ride safe. 😎
The r3 seems a bit smaller in my opinion. Also its a 321cc motor. It all dims down to your riding style and ergonomics you will want when it comes to riding it. Take in factor of wind gust as well on windy days.

I used to own the old GPZ 500 (Or ninja 500 in the US) 2003 model. Not only did that old fucker have more CCs, but it's faster than the new one. Honestly, the only "upgrade" the new one has that's worth anything is fuel injection, because those carbs drove me to insanity. I'm honestly super disappointed at the besmirching of the good name of the old Ninja 500 with this new "baby" edition.... Also, love the green lighting, very topical.
Thanks for sharing! The old Ninja 500 (in my opinion of course) felt faster, but on paper they are both very close to the same power output IIRC. I feel braking technology has come a long way since the first gen Ninja 500R as well, and that's the other part some forget about - having plenty of WHOA for all of the GO! It plays a huge role for how the bike actually feels in the hand. The new Ninja 500 also comes in much lighter than the first gen 500R (varying sources online, but I believe it was about 414 lbs compared to today's 373lbs Ninja 500). @@Omni_Moto Yeah, you may have me there. The old GPZ did have a single disk up front, but later models (including my own) did come with an upgraded two disks. There definitely were a few "ah shit" moments since ABS was non existent on my mode, so I guess that's another +1 the new Ninja has. For the weight, It never did feel heavy or cumbersome, although I guess that's mostly the handling doing it's thing.
