🔎 About socials:
If I tag socials, then this should be done for ALL players (without a single exception), and not just for one person. Socials of some players can not be found (players with default nicknames, some Asian players, etc). I am convinced that it's extremely dishonest to tag contacts of few people and not to tag all the rest, so there will be no social links in description.
But I respect the players whose matches I post. Therefore, if you are sure that videos presented "as is" are not acceptable, I will stop posting content with your participation and remove the ones posted earlier.

I watched this match during Daru_I-No's stream, and it is always a pleasure to see these talented players face off against each other.
I believe the score for all sets played between the two, was 7-2 - Daru (this aligns almost perfectly with Gobou's 7:3 - 8:2 advantage for I-No claims). His depth of Asuka match-up knowledge never ceases to amaze me. Moreover, I noticed that because Komekome tends to use WA multiple times throughout a match, he was losing on defense against Daru almost every time.
Also, this is by no means meant to be criticism by a much lower level player, but I believe if he used Harmonic Boost/Full Order at least a few times, rather than sometimes wasting it on a RC where he only bookmarks 2-3 spells, it would aid him in taking his turn back, and having a more solidified advantage - when Gobou played Case 2, that was the strategy he used - and it was quite amusing to see Gobou attempt to use Case 2 similar to Case 3 (use of staffs, "Solitaire", among other things).
Much like Gobou recently said, Asuka is an open-minded and diverse character - and that is why we see that every Asuka user has included their own nuances and strategies into their gameplan - or has a different playstyle, if you will. ASW were smart to change Asuka's archetype to "Unique" - this character is quite the embodiment of it, but "Technical" also suited him well.

A bit of trivia:
During one of Daru_I-No's broadcasts, a viewer asked what characters that are strong against I-No would he like to see nerfed, Daru's response was, "Soru-Badugai" - the confidence in his voice when he made this statement almost sounded like that of an antagonist in the series - in a good way, of course. Daru_I-No's follow-up response(s) were, "I hope they nerf him into Sol-Weakguy," and, "I'm the #1 Sol h*ter in this game." The duality of this sentence is what I found most interesting.
Although he has not directly stated all of what I am about to say himself - Sol has always been one of I-No's hardest match-ups (he's said this) - in every game she has appeared in (from my observations); but in GGST, Chaos was I-No worst match-up without a doubt - up until season 3, but Daru did not express the same level of antipathy for Chaos as he did/does for Sol. Now, this is just a theory, but I have a feeling this may have something to do with the ending in GGST's story mode...

It has been around 4 years since I've watched the story in this game, so some of the information I recall may be a bit off; please correct me if I'm wrong.
For someone who loves I-No as much as Daru, seeing Sol obliterate it and turning into ash afterwards is _not_ something you would like to see happen to your favorite character of over 20 years. I understand that I-No/Megumi received a positive outcom in the end - but the fact that the I-No we know in the game no longer exists in this timeline has got to sting a bit.
Moreover, although they have admitted that he has a cute face (that's pretty hard for anyone to deny, honestly), another character that Daru does not appear to be too fond of, is Asuka. Again, recapitulating back to GGST's story mode: From creating the "other Jack-O'" that was supposed to aid in making I-No human, at the expense of Jack-O' herself, but never finishing it (probably because Jack-O' is his friend, and perhaps he felt that I-No was not worth the sacrifice); to during the battle with Chaos, with Asuka knowing what I-No's ultimate fate was going to be, but he was only concerned about Chaos disappearing - while openly expressing disdain for I-No (probably because Asuka can apparently see into the future, and in one vision, it appears that I-No was waiting to end Sol, who appeared to be in a zombie-like state - and like Jack-O', Sol is his friend, so...). If I loved I-No as much as Daru does, I probably wouldn't like Asuka, either.
Last, just like many of us Daru_I-No fans, Gobou stated that he thinks Daru is a very talented and cool individual - he's not wrong here.

Thats a really cool and well articulated take. But as an ino player I’ve also always hated fighting sol more than chaos, even in season 1 and 2. I think it all comes down to the fact that no matter how hard it is to get in on HC, once you’re in you’re in. His defense against ino’s mix is terrible, maybe the worst in the game. If he can’t lock you down with zoning/pressure, you can smoke him fast. Sol on the other hand has a great defensive game against ino, both on wake-up and in neutral. I personally think he was still a worse matchup than chaos even in s2.
Still though your story theory is cool. It does definitely sting to see the home girl get obliterated like that.

You made some very good points contrasting the Sol and Chaos match-up once the I-No player gets their turn - unlike with Chaos, you always have to respect Sol players - even on knockdown; and despite the fact that just about every player knows how to fight Sol, I don't believe any non-Sol players enjoy playing against it - and that is especially true for I-No players from what I've seen - because it almost feels as if Sol's toolkit in this game was made specifically to counter I-No's.
Now, I am not the one to call for nerfs of a character, and I don't want it to become "Sol-Weakguy", but I do believe that being in the top 5 in terms of character strength - at a minimum, for over 3 years is far too long for any character...
And I agree, for a fictional standpoint, the last 40 ~ 30 minutes of the 4-hour story mode was a kind of sad... however, I am incredibly curious if Potemkin actually died, though. When God I-No destroyed his equipment, there was blood everywhere - and he was not in the story with Bedman?, so...

interesting to see an Asuka use case 2. I've always thought the utility cards are a bit lackluster there, but nice usage of the staffs
