Not to get all emotional and stuff, but my dad would sing this song all the time when I was a kid and it brings back a lot of good memories. My dad is fighting stage 4 renal cancer, total kidney failure and a slew of other ailments.. It's hard to see him this way to say the least. It's wonderful to hear this song and have it be a reminder of better days gone by. Thanks guys
I hate UA-cam covers. They're butchered, don't capture the feel, and are usually a grab for click bait. Not this. This cover does the song justice with his voice. I've scoured UA-cam and Spotify. The only ones that can hold a candle are the pro covers like this one and Anne Murray's, but there's no sense in comparing someone with decades of career.
