I was having a horrible day today rasing two grandchildren, one middle school, one high school, and my husband is a disabled veteran in a wheelchair that's also speech impaired. I've been on my feet since 4am and was feeling angry with God because I'm tired, but they are waiting for dinner. This song came on and brought tears to my eyes. I love you guys . I feel the love in my soul. God is going to carry me through this journey so I can continue to take care of all of them and our home. I am not alone. He got me. Thank you so much for this song!!!!

Simply Amazing & Beautiful! I hv been in a depressed state the last couple months & nothing was helping me or making even smile. I dont know how I didnt come across these guys before yesterday. Once I heard 1 song I had to listen to them all & it made me feel so much better & I could feel the life coming back into me like I once was. Woke up this morning & had 2 listen to all again. As you can see by my "name," I'm OtisFan1. Otis loved to nurture and mentor new talent. He'd be proud that these wonderful young men from Australia are carrying on the tradition of 60s soul music. When I discovered Otis in 1964, I had only missed his first two records and caught up quickly. I just heard the Teskey Brothers for the 1st time yesterday, so I've got a lot of listening to do.

This song gets me so emotional because I had 2nd row tickets to their show at Red Rocks Amphitheater and they came up and stood right next to my fiancé and I and we got to hug them after. His voice is UNREAL and INSANE and their music really hits me in the feels. I love you all more than you know!
I just had full body chills. That is one helluva memory! I’m from Alabama and I saw STS9 at Red Rocks in ‘17. A stranger and I cried because we felt that every person on this earth needs a Red Rocks experience.

I lost my Hero 3 weeks ago, to the Unforgiving Horrible disease Cancer. He taught me so much, but he never taught me how to carry on living without him. Sorry about your loss...I lost both my parents (dad left and died in Belgium, mom was drinking heavily and killed herself when I was 13. My AMAZING GRANDPARENTS show me how to treat people and myself if I want to be happy. They didn't push me to University. I play guitar and love to paint. My RIP grandpa said: Don't ever let anyone take your dreams away from you, but it makes sense to have a safety net... I miss both of them so much...

In January 2020 I flew home to Adelaide from New Zealand to see Cold Chisel's Blood Money gig. There were 4 support acts that day, the legendary Paul Kelly and three bands I hadn't heard of. I got the venue early and stayed attached to fence in front of the stage all day and all evening. The first two bands ... I don't remember much about them at all. And then The Teskey Brothers hit the stage - a stage that now hosted what seemed like a huge number of people and a huge variety of instruments. I recall that part way through the first song I turned to my friend and said something like 'OMG ... wowwwwwwwwwwww'. The sheer brilliance continued song after song. I was hooked, I was in love, I was sad that until that day I had never heard of The Teskey Brothers, never heard even one song (although I later discovered that they provide a backing song to tv advert for wood stain of all things). I bought their CDs after the show and love listening to them. I'm so looking forward to the day when we can all attend live events again. In the meantime, videos like this remind us of just how lucky we are to have such talented performers reaching out to us. Thanks guys.

I have never really commented on songs but I found this sound a couple years ago and when I did my family instantly loved them my son daughter and wife... through our journey my son got diagnosed with atrt brain cancer at 6 months. We fought we listened to this daily it brought comfort and strength. The hospital teams worked hard and through support when my son was on the edge they took this song and put his heartbeat as the clap and rhythm... it's now been 5 months since he passed before his second birthday... now this song is my emotional trainer. I ride when I can. Be safe out there everyone and hold on to ones lived n lost.
Even my 12 month old knows this is amazing. Every time it comes on he jumps up and runs over to a speaker and listens close, dances and shakes his head like he’s singing it himself. When he was a little younger it made him cry.
