I am Italian ! I have a Vespa px from 1981, perfect and restored I was 15 now 50 The Vespa is not a scooter The Vespa is a different object, a brilliant idea on two wheels, keep it over the years it will increase its value, the Vespa is forever !
Thanks for watching 👍🏻 wow that was some trip you rode, and good to hear you only had a puncture to repair and change the spark plug 👍🏻 thanks again for watching my video, take care Ernie
Thanks for watching 😊 same age as me roughly 😊 they are a lot of fun and a good addition to the garage 😉 there seems to be plenty decent PX’s for sale. Cheers 😎
Hi, thanks for watching 👍🏻 I’m glad it’s made you want another PX, I’m really happy that I did 😊 I will be doing a few more little trips out on the PX and making videos of them. Cheers 😎
Thanks for watching Brian 👍🏻 I still have the PX, I’m in the process of sorting the little bit of paint blistering on the floorboards. The red is great and so much fun, the little 125 is more than adequate for having lots of fun on the country roads around here in Northumberland. Cheers E
Just come across your channel and enjoyed the video. If you fancy something different head up to Kelso on the bank holiday at the end of May. It’s a national scooter rally, and the custom show on the Saturday morning will open your eyes. Just head to the Border Union events centre. There will be loads of lads coming up the A68 on the Friday and the Saturday
Thanks for watching. Like I say I love everything two wheels with a motor they all have their place in the Motorcycling world. I do a fair few Hog and Wing rallies throughout the year and can't see why I can't include a few Scooter rallies/Events in there. I did one Scooter event in 2013 The Stone Valley Festival North. Cheers, Ernie
I had lml 150. Had enough of 7hp. But I have p150x with quattrini 172. Today my favorite scooter. 200 just parking one side with my sprint veloce. New fresh scoot always lovely to ride.
Is there subtitles ? Campervan Motorcyclist garage is said but my Northumbrian Geordie accent might sound like that 🤔 Thanks for watching and your kind comments 👍🏻
@@scrambler69-xk3kv haha shame they are a lot of fun for a little ride around the country roads and moors. Women here ride them and bikes but they’ve a good following here from the 60’s with the Mods and Rockers. I have a few bikes I ride most of the time but like I say the scooter is a lot of fun. I rode a 1983 PX125 from Hull to Rimini return, over 2300 miles with only one puncture and a spark plug replacement in Milan on the return trip.

The old Px is a great little scooter..the disc ones are the nicest and probably the 200cc is the one to get as it just has that bit more oomph
Thanks for watching 👍🏻😉 yep I agree the 200 is the most sought after 😊 🛵💨💨
I got px200 on a 98 plate😂 would never sell❤ ,treat yourself to some sip tubeless rims ,them split rims go immediately go down when punctured
@@staffh3815 thanks for watching 👍🏻 nice the PX200 sort after scoot 😉 I will check those rims out, cheers E
Ernie, any bike/scooter that you get on and makes you smile is a keeper.
Would have loved to hear a debrief on the ride.

The best advice would be get out and ride the GTS (not in the snow or ice though 😊😉) have fun and be safe.
They were R50k back then. I should have bought one. Regrets. I had and have px200x 😂😊

Shame these will never catch on in the states. Considered a gay man's ride here. For women only.
