I never knew about the start finish line. I always called this track the 2 starting line track.

I’ve had the same saved myself from crashing pick the bike up ran off the track slowed down rejoined then hit with a LLP🤦🤦🤦. Great race though and like the replays 👍👍👍

@@DrAce46 yeah absolutely, I was absolutely gutted when he crashed in the sprint on the last lap too, shouldn’t of happened! But he pulled it back in the main race thank god haha! What a good weekend for Aleix too
Hey @DrAce.. I asked you before the MotoGP season started.. Do you think that Marc Marquez can fight for championship this year.. you said no.. I wanna ask you now.. Does your opinion about that changed, and what ia your opinion on his performance from Jerez to Catalunya?

Thanks buddy! To be honest mate. I’m not sold yet. Although Marc has been fantastic these past few rounds I can’t help to notice how much the other top riders are struggling. Binder, Miller, Bez, Diggia, Maverick since COTA has been underwhelming as well, Aleix and Alex Marquez haven’t been consistent either.
I want to see how he fares with the rest when they’re all at their best first. I very much suspect that from the half way point we could see some improvements from the other riders. Then the action really kicks off 🔥I don’t want to take anything away from Marc but the challenge is to beat the best 2 riders Pecco and Jorge and he hasn’t done that yet, if he gets the better of them both then I’ll definitely believe he can fight for a top 3 championship position 🔥 until then, I’m not ready to jump on the hype 😂
My main concern with Marc is that I’ve watched him for over a decade and he’s been one of the most ruthless riders in the sport and in turn that has resulted in tonnes of wins.. you know the resume of Marc Marquez 🔥 however since the constant crashes on the Honda and the injuries I’m seeing a different Marquez. He’s learning a new bike and for the first time he’s not the star of the manufacturer, I didn’t think we’d see Marc fighting and trying to prove himself worthy for a factory bike.. He doesn’t seem as ruthless or as all out as he once was. Seeing Marc celebrate podiums like wins is not a sight I thought I’d see, It reminds me a lot of Rossi when he was coming to the end of his career, you always thought he could win, even did things like finish on the podium from the 5th row same as Marc now. But those wins didn’t come often and the championships looked even harder and harder. I want Marc to do well but as a neutral fan these few points is what’s making me skeptical.
@@DrAce46 I agree with you for some things.. but I think Diggia for example is on his best. But also, I dont think Marc is on his best and he can improve much more.. He actually beat Bagnaia in LeMans, and he Beat Martin in sprint in Catalunya.. Point wise he is few points behind Bagnaia on 1 year old Ducati which is not as good as GP24 and KTM for 2024 (Binder, Acosta and Miller bike)
All of them has to be on limit and crashes shows that.. 1 bad weekend can change a lot and we have 14 more... I support Marc and before Jerez I did not think that he can fight for championship but last 3 races make me feel that he will be in fight for championship until the end.. Rossis podiums at the end were rarity but Marc has 5 podiums in a row including sprints (3 without) and he was in fight for podiums since COTA.. he is actually one of the most constant riders on the grid this season + Marc is just 31.. He is not that old but also, he has so much expirience and I think he handles the pressure better then Pecco and Martin.. Thats my opinion and i tried to be objective.. But who knows,anything can happen.. But I think those 3 willl fight for a title.. For those celebrations he said "When I'm happy, I'm fast.. I wanna enjoy riding a bike again" so I think that just is for him but on track he have one priority - WIN and I think that he is more than a capable to do that..
The Ducati GP23 isn’t much different to the GP24 Marc even said this himself from looking at the Ducati data. I’d still say it’s the 2nd best bike on the grid. Much better than the KTM no doubt.
Yeah Marc is not old, it’s just more the toll on his body. All those crashes and surgeries, his arms are filled with scars. I think that takes a mental toll as well.
Don’t get me wrong I love how Marc celebrates the podiums. It’s great to watch but seeing him finish 3rd in 2024 compared to 2019 for example is a big difference. He probably would have only smiled definitely not danced for 3rd. The mindset and targets are definitely different for him.
We’ll certainly see how he gets on for the rest of the season but from today I don’t see anyone else winning but Pecco or Martín. Game on 🔥
@@DrAce46 I did not say that GP23 is bad bike.. but KTM for 2024 and GP24 are better.. KTM in terms acceleration on straight is a beast.. Easily fightin with GP24.. We can do this for few mor days

I know mate, I just keep reading a lot of people talk about the GP23 Ducati as if it was a terrible bike lol it's the 2nd best bike no doubt.
