Nice work. Stumbled across your video while searching youtube videos for sneaker kit instructions (more for sewing, not leather work). Just thinking you may know my brother in law, Rex Crawford and nephew, Colton Crawford. Rex specializes in Spurs and sterling work for western wear and tack. Colton is a rising professional bronc rider, in the southeastern part of Colorado.
I have this kit as well. I have been procrastinating putting it together. Thanks to your video I feel confident enough to get started. Your shoes turned out amazing.
That looks great D I love your work.Im 69 yr old been tooling off and on raising 3 girls and can't do the work you do.Love your videos.I might just give these a try.
Hey Dominic that's an awesome video man, I really liked the idea, never thought that tandy would have those. The side leather, is it chrome, or just veg tan. I m surprised how well the tooling in a 3-4oz .
Doesn’t really matter what you use as long as it holds it in place until your done stitching,Your stitch is what is going to be holding it all together
That is the nicest side of leather I’ve ever seen from Tandy,if I could get leather like that l would order more from them.

How beautiful are those sneakers! ❤ If I'd made them I don't think I'd ever take them off.😄
That tooling looks awesome. I'm going to search your channel and see if you have any drawing and tooling videos now.

Hey D I looked and there is no size 13...what the heck..lol
Those look BADASS! I'll have to do a pair myself 🙂
nice man, keep making these cool videos
look really good
Any why I could get the tooling pattern?
Amazing leather work.
Is the floral pattern for sale, I would like to try to make them.
Would have loved to watch you tool them.
Great job on the leatherwork! Attaching it to the shoe looked like it would be a pain. Why not pre punch holes and as stated use contact glue?
I was curious how do they feel on? Are they comfortable or are they just for looks?
same question here!
Just for looks
Feet sweat and chemicals from leather entering your body. Not good. Especially with all the hazardous tannins. Beware!
Molto bravo complimenti

I used the Old World Veg Tan 3/4 oz
@@D2Leatherwork isnt that a little bit hard? I mean where the Shoe meets the ankle, the edge of veg tan wouldnt press in your flesh?
Gorgeous! You’ve definitely mastered your tooling craft. Not sure mine will look so beautiful, but a girl can dream😄👍🏽
Se ven hermosas ❤
Sizes 35 and 36?
So you don't use them? If you do, are they comfy?
Unfortunately I do not! They didn’t have any in my size🥲
Do you guys ship to Jamaica
He is not the distributor. You need to talk with the actual company. Google “Tandy Leather” and talk with them.
I would have made a copy of the pattern just incase you need it for the future
The idea of using nails it's awesome, but I would be better to use contact cement, just my opinion.
