I've read a Wind Waker, Four Swords, Minish Cap, and Wind Waker manga but I never knew there was a Twilight Princess one, and one so dark on top of that.
First Blackstarchan hilariously summarizes the first chapter of the Ocarina of Time manga and now Cutzi is hilariously summarizing the first volume of Twilight princess?! My middle school self is satisfied now. But seriously I've seen almost NO ONE talk about any of the Zelda manga despite the series being a big part of my middle school years, so thank you for making this. This was really funny and the Talo and Colon slander was highly appreciated :)
I like that the manga is meant for those who have played the game and already know the major spoilers. It frees up the authors to experiment and have fun with the story in a way the game couldn't because it was 100% from Link's POV. Thankfully the entire series is able to be purchased digitally now instead of being physical only for so long.
The translation (Or maybe the original) actually changes whether Link is a direct descendant of MM Link or not. The shade in the Viz translation says they're NOT related which his the opposite of the game.
I clicked this video for the sole reason that you added the detail that his arm got cut off in the first book. Everyone seems to forgot that he died and Ordona brought him back
I have the entire set! I've been collecting them for years!! It was my first ever manga as a kid! Yeah... It awakened my dark side. Strangely... Lord I hope they turn it into an anime series. I would DIE for that 🥲
I just finished the whole manga. spoiler Link/Midna shippers have won the "Twilight Princess: Link's love interest" war and with the manga having more than once access the twilight realm, Link can reunite with Midna even without the mirror. He just needs to find another access

Some key amazing points (spoilers if you haven't read, so go read it first): - Link and Midna's relationship (kiss!) - Midna and Zelda's friendship - Seeing the Hero of Time mentoring Link - Link and everyone charging/defending hyrule 10/10!!!!

(That said their on-screen taxes seem to amount to "Just bring a plain old sword when a new King or Queen ascends." which is kinda hilariously minor (They probably DO pay a grain or cash tax too but it's just not shown_
