I listen to the Mexico soundtrack this year and I can definitely hear some new sounds and to Pages synthesizers. The plebs and bloops are definitely taking a turn. The jams are going to evolve.

John Mayer wasn't influenced by Garcia till later in life. He was obviously mostly a blues guitarist prior to 2015 wuth a range of influences but not Garcia. He and Rick Rubin waxed philosophical about both discovering the dead later in life during John's interview with Rick. ❤
