people hardly ever give Foreman credit for how smart he was as a fighter, his mentor and trainer at one time was Archie Moore. constant pressure, a seek-and-destroy wrecking machine, but methodical and accurate. Always crowded his opponent using his size as a deterrent and absorbing all of the punishment while timing their every move and pounding on them until they couldn't continue. his strength and power were one thing, but he was indeed smart and used it to beat everyone including Michael Moorer for the title.

To all Tyson Fanboys and Foreman Fanboys here, stop making conclusion on who is the better fighter. They never faced each other in the ring so it would be impossible to tell. They have different styles and we all know that in boxing, styles make fights. All we can do is to respect both boxers for what they've done in boxing. Tyson being the youngest HW champ and Foreman for being the oldest. That would be enough for them to be considered as all-time greats, not only in HW division, but in the entire boxing history as well.
True but Tyson was way faster than Joe, more durable, much better defence, hit harder, had two handed power and had better ring IQ. So its not that straightforward. Although I believe George does beat Mike.
@@TFB97 More durable? Tyson could be everything else you said, but he doesn't strike me as being more durable than the dude that just wouldn't stop getting up no matter how badly he was being brutalised. And he is both smaller and lighter than Joe, so I don't necessarily think he hits harder. Tyson struggled with clinching rough house fighters that just smothered him whenever he tried getting in. Foreman is an absolute master of exactly that- he'd bully Tyson.
He was not a hard puncher, he was a heavy puncher. Heavy punchers don't have that one punch knockout power but they do more OVERALL damage through strength. Strength is not the same as power as power also factors in speed
Yeah power is the mix of speed and strength. Iron mikes considered one of the most powerful punchers because he has crazy speed with respectable strength but wasn’t nearly half as strong as foreman. Tyson was 80-20 speed foreman 80-20 strength. His punches would go through you he wouldn’t retract it so quick, a punch from Tyson would take half a second and wind you, bruise you and whatever else, but foreman? Blunt force trauma, he’d damage your bones and the internals and it’d take him twice as long as Tyson but the damage done is irreversible. I often think Frazier and Ali are no longer with us because they stepped in the ring with foreman😂 I wouldn’t surprise me if both their illness’s was a result of him punching the life out of them haha.
I wish if George foreman met Mike Tyson and they were both in their prime🔥🔥🔥 that would have been the greatest fight in heavyweight boxing 🥊💪🏾 history.

To think that Ali took shots from this man for 8 rounds. Geesh!
I really like the selection of images and even music, very exciting, where can I find it?

💯
Foreman smothers and treats Tyson like Frazier.
Very difficult style matchup for Tyson. Cus didn't want Tyson fighting Foreman for a reason even in his old years.
Best ever
Number One
1:28 looks like Wilder. Who is Big George knocking out there?

Weird how the guy asked will you continue boxing if you lose, and then he lost and quit kinda.
he lost to ali but continued for few years then he unfairly lost to jimmy young and had a mental breakdown
It happened!!
