Huge part of my childhood. Bless his heart.
Wonderful 😀
This man is a legend❤❤❤❤
I don’t understand why people are always on about them talking to the chefs. They’ve obviously been told to ask the chefs lots of questions that they think the viewers might ask.
The king and beyond when it comes to cooking sea food
LEGEND
Why do you have the caricature of Sgt Bilko on your home kitchen as the camera zooms in now and again ? That was a funny show in its time Your show is Great.
Oh for gods sake, get a life! Stop being so negative! Rick is a legend and the presenters are brilliant, just dont watch it if you don't like it!
Recipe is incorrect on the app! It says potato not puff pastry
Oh please……
It is a totally different recipe on the app
He does say , about the puff, and tbh it's miles better , well, miles more butter, which equals 💯✅🏌️♂️
Is he making a savory custard sauce for his fish pie?
Exactly what I was thinking
No, he's using the egg and flour to thicken it.
@@dougd6137it’s a very old fashioned and traditional way of thickening sauces.

These presenters are a disgrace. Could not hear one thing that Rick Stein was saying with them constantly interrupting and talking over him. Did she actually use the fork from her plate to decorate the sides of that pie he was preparing? 🤢
Why are people so angry these days?
@@PassiveAgressive319shows you, your ..whatever, ...zeitgeist? ... 🙄those presenters do not respect his " space". ..verbally and physically ..with that fork. If you have ever cooked .... you might have a fkn semblance of understanding . Lol
Spot on. A disgrace , to anyone that wants to learn a recipe .. take those two out for a walk, permanently. 💡

Who remember his dog if so what was his name?
Chalky I think was his name.
@@stuartt455 correct
Chalky. I think that there is a statue dedicated to him in ‘Padstein’😅😅😅

I love fish pie…and I would like to know how Rick makes it easy to achieve…but Alison and Dermot are so rude and obnoxious when anyone cooks on the show…they eat with a full mouth spitting food over the counter…they lick their lips making horrible noises eating…I don’t think they even know what table manners are..they never stop asking questions that they can asked off screen…I don’t think much of the producers or the floor crew for letting them do that…it is disrespectful to the guest…it’s supposed to be the cooks segment….it’s an embarrassment to the show and those who run it and it doesn’t say much about their manners either..the app is not available either where I live because of I’m in a different country and there are regional restrictions…🇦🇺🇦🇺
its not that deep go get a job
I thought the hosts are very sweet to Rick, praising his food and asking the questions that I wanted to ask about the recipe.
@@wowiehowiethatscrayzyBad manners are obviously your forte too….so much for the British and their etiquette…that simply doesn’t exist.
You don't have to watch it
Yes, American daytime TV is pretty rude and tasteless these days.
