You can really feel how no one at Disney even likes Star Wars.
None of them have ever even seen it....since in interviews they said that "there is a lack of female characters at the center of the scene" (rip. Leia, Padme, Ahsoka, Sabine, Satine etc) and that "Anakin blew up The Death Star ".....
Filoni is doing a great job. Rogue one and Andor are incredible good aswell.
Filoni? Honestly, I’m starting to find more and more questionable by the day. In the Ahsoka series, he turned what could’ve been a compelling story arc into the most horrendous Star Wars story ever put. Even if it was animated, it would still suck.
They said out loud they hate men and white men specifically and wanted to piss them off, due to their being the majority demographic that loved the original movies.

I fell asleep 20 minutes into the first episode and never looked back. I thought Filoni would save Star Wars, but somehow he looked at this and didn't see anything wrong with it. I honestly believe if Disney randomly gathered 12 Star Wars fans and asked them to produce a show it would be heads and shoulders above this.

With the degradation going on in science fiction and fantasy series/ movies I have gone starting to read more books.
I can really recommend it. There is a vast ocean of super imaginative original universes on offer in books. All without identity politics in there and much more creative and deeper than anything on offer on TV
Give it a try with Hyperion, Revelation Space, Children of Time, Stormlight Archive or Mistborn (last one if you want something big but easy to read) and you will be blown away.
As for Star Wars, cherish the memories of the old stuff. Rip off the band aid and accept it's dead.

The new live action shows (except andor, it had great writing and acting) and movies are rough, the animated shows are decent enough (not counting resistance cartoon, as that was obviously meant for really young children). BUT! The games have been good. And thats only because they werent directly made by disney, just licensed through them.

I'm 72 now and have watched Star Wars become a world sensation to this Disney abortion. Wow. I never guessed a few witches could curse a franchise this utterly. We cringe watched episode 3 and almost had strokes.

Sparky, I love your passionate honesty. I watched 30 minutes of episode 1 last night. I couldn't endure anymore. I'm 55 year old. I saw Star Wars in 1977. Can you imagine how all this garbage Disney churns out, makes people like me feel, having been on this evolution for 47 years. Seeing what it's become.

The whole twin thing qas made before, by Bioware on the game The Old Republic, but were two white humans, trains since they were almost able to walk, dispaching sith rogether, fighting along side each other. But, one brother was getting tired of being manipulated like a pawn, while thenother stayed loyal to their masters. Eventually the brother rebeled and accidently killed his twin, making him hate their jedi masters even more and effectively becoming a sith.
This story was made almost a decade ago, and the sole trailer was better than anything Disney has done so far.

How do so many Disney fans clearly have no idea that this is nothing close to the end of Star Wars. It's literally just the beginning. Meanwhile most people today have their entire Persona molded into them from external influence yet they don't seem to pick up on the fact that that's all this is. Influence. The thing I've never understood is why Hollywood felt that only boys watched Star Wars. There have always been female fans. Go to any Comicon and you'll see plenty of women there.
