- Abby and I review an awesome article by Matthew Jackson during our most recent livestream about the 25th anniversary of Blade that totally convinced us that Kevin Feige better watch himself cause Blade 1 & 2 don't need to be rebooted!!
Blade 2 is, quite possibly the best Vampire movie ever made.
I love Wesley Snipes in blade, I even have the knife and the movies 💯

I don’t think Marvel Studios will be able to come close to the original blade series. Not like they were the best, but I’d say they’re just as good if not better than many of the best MCU flicks.

Wesley is The Secret Sauce... You gotta respect his gangster! MARVEL is gonna have to get off their BS and let Wesley and the right director do what they do!
Wesley Snipes were bad ass in martial combat and looked very cool. But wouldn't say Blade movies are overall good movies. You have an old Chris Christofferson with grey beard, as some sort of Vampire master, and the late 90's club techno music are also at times cringey IMHO. But yes, the original Blade (1) movie with the rave scene and sprinklers with blood were both funny and bad ass action. But think you already doom the upcoming Blade movie without it has been released yet. And that seems premature to me. Let's see how it goes. And then, we can judge the movie....
I get your overall point about judging the final product, but look at the journey that this current project is taking. It has been rewritten maybe 5 or 6 times at this point and it was originally announced maybe 5 or 6 years ago. It's completely fair for me to judge that along with my love of the previous movies in whether or not I have interest in what is being possibly made. If they can give me a trailer, that makes criticism even more concrete. But based on what is happening, I doubt we get a trailer or a movie from this.--FP
