Don't ever let the opinions of some old dudes who call themselves "judges" get you down even if you don't make finals! What matters is when you put your hearts out there on the field and leave a performance that the crowd loves. That's what counts! This show made me a proud alum for sure. :)
This performance was one of our best and even though we didn't make finals just the energy I felt on that field was enough for me to say that this has been my favorite show so far. I'm so excited to see what will be in store for us next year. GO SPRING BAND
Go Dawson highschool band!!!! Jkjk in part of the DHS band but our director was bragging on u guys saying how good u are and how u are able to project such good sounds without that many people
my brother was a trumpet player for Spring, and when I was there I enjoyed all of it, even though they didn’t win (😤💀) I still thought they were good👍🏼. I didn’t know why no one clapped when they spelled “Never More”🤨🤦🏻♀️
Love this show, but HATE the intentional imprecision in the guard. For great rifles, please refer to late 70s Guardsmen and early 80s 27th Lancers. And....I despise the narration. True marching just doesn't need it. However, this is a fantastic band. I once taught in Tomball, and always admired this band program.
I wish marching band would return to more precise marching and guard work and less dancing and choreography. The imprecision is intended simply to make it harder to judge the precision.
