completely lost with the SC_1802 installation, I don't see the setup files and I downloaded MCM and extracted it. You left a few things out and might be going a bit too fast for newbies. Thanks anywyays, I'll look for a guide that's a little easier to understand.

System Management container holds key information about the site (Site code and clients find the location of the site) and Management Point uses this container to configure Boundaries. Extending schema means you are adding additional attributes to the AD objects which can be used by the ConfigMgr client. Yes, you can extend the AD schema without the System Management container. However, you cannot configure ConfigMgr core setup properly without the System Management container. Also, Management Point may fail to install or not function at all.

Hi Atul, Microsoft Eval center is down and there is nothing I can do about it. Here is a workaround they put in place techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/windows-11/accessing-trials-and-kits-for-windows-eval-center-workaround/m-p/3361125.
Check the log file estadsch in the root directory of your ConfigMgr server. You can run extadsh from any member server with an account having write privileges on AD.

Once you are ready for installation, use prereqchk.exe to run the prerequisite check. Prereqchk.exe file resides in \SMSSETUP\BIN\X64. It will inform you if the server is ready for installation.
@@eslam200x I created that to get Internet on the Internal VS. With pfSense you can do that. For installation or lab environment, you do not need Internet unless you would like to work on Software Updates, CMG or other functionalities which relies on Internet connectivity.

You can download 1902.
Make sure that ADK you installed is supported with 1902. Check here docs.microsoft.com/en-us/configmgr/core/plan-design/configs/support-for-windows-10

Router machine has no impact on the AD Schema or other tasks demonstrated in the video.
