Hello Sweet Kendra! Yes, my great grandmother and grandmother had several trunks each. They stored "special" linens and handmade quilts in them. I have a couple quilts and sets embroidered pillow cases. Such great memories of looking thru them as a child. Unable to pick one fave, I love them all. Yes my grandparents had a big old trunk in a big walk in closet back in 1960s. I loved setting in their closet with the smell of cedar looking at the amazing things ❤

Oh yes. I also have several. I love trunks. My next one will be a seat as well. Open the lid and wrap a thick dense foam and put it on a strong board put it in the bottom and leave the top open and paint it pretty. It turns out so beautiful. Not hard to make they are so great for rentals and such for extra seating and you can close it when not in use and hide stuff under it for safe keeping.
