Everything came out so lovely. I find myself waiting for Wednesdays, so I can "visit" with you. I live in Israel, so we don't see the video until 4 p.m. our time. Israel is going through such a tough time now, with our sons and daughters called up to the IDF, and my daughter's family evacuated to a safer area. I find your videos so calming and soothing. Please pray for us, there are over 200 innocent people kidnapped including babies, children, mothers, and grandmothers. We need your prayers. Wishing you all a happy holiday season.
Very beautiful. Can I add, I appreciate the timeless pieces and Mary isn't a trendy person. I don't want pieces I use for 2 months and then it's on to a new trend. I love having good quality things that last. Mom raised 6 kids, babysat 8 more. She still has her coffee table and it's in great shape. Mary is always so inspiring. ❤
Mary, I'd like to see you take an old quilt. That's quilted pretty tight, even if it's quilted on the machine and make primitive ornaments out of it like little stockings and Christmas trees and little round balls like a ornament.Maybe make a garland out of it
Honestly your shop is my dream 😊,most ppl think me odd as my love for power tools and alike is a real thing haha, I can always be found in a hardware store lurking down the power tool Isle 😂 then the scrap wood area, paint then decor. I can see the joy in your face as you make those or any items you makeover & make. Just brilliant, you can never have to much imagination & creativity 😊. Beautiful items Mary as always.
The trays are absolutely stunning! Mary, you have a gift for seeing incredible potential in the most humble materials. I am always excited for your Wednesday video posts, and this one is just wonderful.
Susiepam, my heart goes out to you❤ I could never fathom, what you all are going through, just so horrific, and terrifying. I'm praying for you all, it's just such a messed up world. But thank GOD we have Mary💟 I agree, there's nothing better than her fabulous videos, to give us smiles, and joy, and a sense of calm. Sometimes I rewatch, it gives me peace. THANK YOU MARY, FOR ALL YOU DO FOR US, YOUR THE BEST💗💕💞💖💓
My husband and I just got back from a trip to Holmes county from Idaho. We had such a nice time, the weather was great. We visited most of the haunts you have mentioned in your videos, we weren’t interested in the more popular tourist attractions. We had breakfast at Boyd and Wurthman’s, lunch at East Main, went to the Trading Post(one of our favorites!) and saw your booth at the antique mall. We also had lunch one day at Mrs Yoder’s and went to all the thrift stores, liked Share and Care and MCC Connections most. We had fun visiting the Coleman museum and the Roundhouse. Our three days were pretty packed! Thanks for sharing your beautiful area with us. The fall colors were fading, but we still got to see some of it, your area of the world is gorgeous!
Just absolutely lovely, a joy to watch. I do not have to have everything you make and design but I can just look and relax, it is so peaceful with no interruptions as well. Unfortunately I have to fly as I also have commitments and jobs to do that are waiting for me. It was just lovely to have a break from the usual daily chores. You are such an inspiration. Go well.
Mary was my mother- in-laws name, she was so sweet.. you remind me of her with your kind soul. I love watching everything you do. Hope your November is going good as well. God bless you and your family.
Mary, you are a true artist! I just recently came across your channel and I’m obsessed. I am binge-watching all your videos and can’t wait to see what’s next… and next!! Thank you for all your inspiration and wonderful craftsmanship. I love it all ❤
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ Dear Mary, I SO love and appreciate you! What you do on your videos is ministry for God… You are an incredible encouragement in these dark and heavier days…a whole lot more than you even know! A true ray of hope! Yes, we desperately need to keep our focus on Almighty God…always! But this short video you share is therapeutic and a healthy content to see! You and your family are good people, with strong morals, values, principles, decency, honesty, clean living, and you love and live for Almighty God! And that speaks volumes to me, when SO much of this has been lost! Thankyou, and Almighty God bless you, immeasurably! ❤
Mary you are truly blessed. Love your ideas of making something out of what you have. I enjoy watching your videos. You are very creative. May God bless you in all you do.
Mary I absolutely love your courage, talent, and gift of crafts. I so love how you’re able to repurpose items laying around your home into something beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing these ideas and continuing to inspire us. ❤
Everything is so beautiful! I love those transfers on the trays! Those little trees and risers are so cute! That Engraving laser is amazing! Of course! I will be using some of your time saving measuring tips for sure! Your videos are always so inspiring. Thank you! ❤
As usual, everything came out so nice! I love the trays and the mini tray. It would make a nice addition to any gift basket package. Thank you for sharing!
i watched you when you started out, haven't watched you for a long time, and watching this video, I want to say: Wow. Have you upped your game. Working on tables, not the ground, doing things in small bathes, having great tools, it's all a blessing how far you've come in your business. I put up some wood walls in my house, the rough wood (bought it at lowes was sprecially for walls) really warmed up the rooms. Then I took the left over wood and made 3 Christmas tress. Wish I could show you a picture. If I had your talent and felt secure selling something I made with wood, with what these Christmas trees cost, and what they would fetch, that would be a great project. They would work outdoors or indoors. I use mine indoors as my christmas tree. The base is open square 2 x 2", another 2 & 2 for the spine, about 5 foot tall, and then the thin wood pieces cut on an angle smaller and smaller towards the top. For the star at the top I painted it with green (painted the base and spine dark green), then added tons of glitter. I made 3 because that's how much wood I had. This is my 3rd yor 4th year bringing them in from the shed for my Christmas tree decoration. They are beautiful and match the wood wall in the living room, ha, ha. Have a blessed Christmas!
Wow, everything you create is absolutely amazing. It’s great that you give people an idea of things they can make themselves yet offer the items for instant gratification on the Etsy shop. Not everybody has the time nor the materials to create such wonderful items but you allow us to not only have, a piece of your hand creations, but a wonderful decoration year after year.
I absolutely love the tray’s! Beautiful everything is beautiful and perfect for the holiday season and everyday decor! Thank you Mary for sharing all your decor and tips . You are a beautiful talented lady! I’m blessed too have found your channel!
Mary, I think it would be nice to make like a medium and a larger size tree so not for the trays, but you could stack them on like a boy not for a 3 tier tray, but just like one single tray on the coffee table or on a end table, you can stack the 3 different sizes it. Would really look nice and if You had some of the metal rusty Stars on the top of them. That would be so cool
😂 "and of course the pieces i want to work with are always at the bottom of the pile.." can sooo relate to this! 🤣. i dunno, must be the universal law of woodworking or something. i just love your channel, Mary, you always brighten my day 💗
I just wanted to say “ you’re such a beautiful lady” I’ve found your channel and love watching you with my family. You are extremely talented ❤ I’m not sure if you are Apostolic of Nazarene. We go also there. Sometimes we are visiting Amish country in a Berlin it’s a lot of fun there. I love to see antiques over there. I’m inspired by your work. Greetings from Kasa family!
Wishing I lived closer to Ohio to attend your event! Love reclaimed wood and appreciate the handmade nature so much. Anything mass produced just can’t compare. Every single thing you create is one-of-a-kind, touched with loving hands.
i like how you put the transfers on. i usually do smaller ones, occasionally i place them a little off, now i have a way of placing them perfectly. thank you for this hint and all you do creatively and share
The little trees are so cute! I love that they can display as is with the whitewash finish or be decorated. And that they can stay out all winter long instead of just being a holiday item. Very clever.
