You guys are troopers I would of been like idk about this once you got stuck the first time lol. I love the camper it looks great! And the whole tent around it with a hot stove! Badass build guys 👏🏽
Bloody awesome bit of kit! Anything needs doin on the rigg, you can lift the awnin an out of the weather. Cause who ever has sometimes wrong with their rigg in lovely shinin sun? It’s always pissin with rain snow wind you name it an miles from anywhere Awesome bit of kit!! Yes
I have a polaris atv 500 sportsman. I don't have no camper trailer like that one but sure would like to build one like that! One big enough for my atv to pull and enough more room to sleep three people.
What is the support bar attached to your rack that your auxiliary light bar is mounted to? I know that Kopln had something like that years ago, but they discontinued it. I really like the idea. If your would do a video on how you have outfitted your quad would be awesome. Thanks for taking us along on the adventures and stay safe.
Allo from the UK? Just found ya channel an wow where did you get the trailer an why haven’t have we seen it be for? Great lookin bit of kit guys!! I won’t tell Maritimer or mazanoman if you don’t So cmon guys spill the beans? Where did the trailer come from? Many thanks Paul 22.29 gmt Uk cheers
I built it from scratch. Total build. I always wanted to build one. I love to atv and camp. So why not build one! Thank you very much! I love the UK!!!! Cheers from Canada. I hope to build and sell. But thanks to COVID, funds are short. Unless investors are interested.
Wow incredible unit. Toying around with the idea of building something like this. What's the drop measurement from your center walking beam hub down to your wheel hubs? I'm thinking about making the walking beam assemblies flippable (not a word I guess lol) Have the wheels in the position you have them in for off road trails. Then flip the assembly upside down to lower it for fire road/easy trails. I have a dual position hitch that would accommodate the trailer height change.
As far as I'm concerned you are a pioneer in the true off road camper.. I've seen a lot of imitations not a single one of them has a slide out!.. and certainly none of them has been pulled behind a four-wheeler! ..it can be done!
May I ask where you got the trailer? I have been trying to find some sort of lil light weight tow behind trailer for my Polaris General. That trailer is PERFECT!🙂
Very awesome , the Polaris didn’t do a bad job of pulling it around or through the water. The four cameras on the pole is that just to give ya something to look at or record over night to see the critters ? First 2 nights lots of peepers !
You and your wife are tough. I showed my wife this and she said NOPE. She is down with camping but this is a lot of work. Did you all ever unhook and just ride the trials? I think this camper setup would be really cool on a long haul trip out in Utah or something. Thanks for posting this is very unique!
I unhooked. Just to run off and get firewood etc. Right now I’m building skies for the frozen river. I’ll be posting a new vid for that soon. 🤗. Thanks for the comments! 👍
Hi, I really like the camper. I've built one myself. Nothing as fancy as yours, I went with a pop-up tent style with hard roof. Do you know how much yours weighs? How does it handle rough terrain? Great build!
Really sorry for the late reply. I’m guessing 500-700lbs. It totally handled the rough terrain. It’s awesome fun. I’ll be posting up another vid soon. Thanks
Not much more weight. As for high speed trailers. They require the weight to be on the young. Seeing I’m not cruising at 100kms, all the weight is at the back of trailer.
Ever thought of coming north? Thompson area...... great quad camping in this area. Decide to, contact me and I can show you ‘round here. Love your camper!! reidcochran@hotmail.com.
Well here is a gem of a spot to check out.... 100s kms of trails..... William lake north of Grand Rapids... in behind Little Limestone I love taking my son camping there.
I’d have to say one thing ... you are hard on belts ! Don’t think I’d go through all that just . I’d just grab a tent ⛺️ I mean it looks sharp and all . It looks like you need wheels as big as the ATV to get that thing to maneuver better
Were I live that would be useless. Mainly cuz a atv or even a utv couldn't pull it very far. The roads we camp with are atvs are so rough the atv by itself has a hard time getting to were we camp. We don't have super hwys to drive on.
@@natbarr 1 that you might have heard of is the Rubicon trail. But even were my trap line is in northwest nevada the roads have such big rocks and are really steep in places I don't think an atv or utv would have the power or mobility.
AWESOME!!!!.. i read your information and don't close your account in 1/2024!!!! Keep going!!! Looking at a similar build as yours and would like to talk about it sometime by whatever means such as cell/text/email. Videos are real and not supposed to be tv edited!!!👍🙂
Not bad for pulling... up or down hill. It’s only 500lbs-700lbs. I can pull this myself. As for the atv. I have a Polaris Sportsman 800efi. Yes it does eat gas! Lol.
What do you mean? It’s only 700lbs. Plus I just bought a Polaris sportsman 800 6x6. The atv pulling that trailer in vid is also Polaris sportsman 800. No problem.
I cried for that poor ATV
You guys are troopers I would of been like idk about this once you got stuck the first time lol. I love the camper it looks great! And the whole tent around it with a hot stove! Badass build guys 👏🏽
Thanks man! It’s great for winter camping as well. -38 with a wind chill of -46 is a challenge. Diesel heater and wood stove keeps me warm.
Whoa! And I thought the coffee table was cool. You sir have leveled up.
Really nice job on trailer and that is what I consider camping.
Thank you very much

Id definitely change that hitch over to off road hitch that articulates but cool rig. 👍 from Australia
Absolutely agree with you. Unfortunately, I can’t afford it. Maybe someday I’ll make one. Thank you!
What an amazing lil setup!👍👍
That poor sportsmen lol but they are great atv's!
Haha right on getting it done!
I bet the Clutches on that Polaris were happy to be done with that trip eh?
Pretty hefty load!
Atv had no problem. Trailer is pretty light. But it’s fun!

Thanks. Some day I will

It’s about 12”. Not sure. And if I need to lower or raise. I just move entire axle above leaf springs or below.
Nice setup, Just joined your channel. Look forward to seeing more.
Water and Land Adventures ... I will. Count on that. Winter is coming. It’s my camping season!
What kind of antenna is that next to the camera mast? Regards, Bartek SP5BRH
Just a cb radio

Wow, that's the hilton on wheels! Love it.
Thank you!
thats an awesome set up! looks like some cool camping areas too!
It’s a great camper. I love it. Thanks
Interesting concept but looks a bit precarious behind the quad. Might work better behind a side x side
It’s a tough quad. Sorry for the late reply. My atv is a 800cc.
That quad is perfectly fine probably even to powerful
I like your set up. Thanks for sharing.
I'd love to go riding with you guys, this video kicks as, well done on the trailer guys

Great video guys !
Trailer weighs around 600lbs.
Wow that is some cool camper must have a small fortune invested in it .

Wow, really great. Is the outside wall just varnished wood? Will it withstand the impact of branches and then rain?
Rear hatch is aluminum. And yes… it’s painted with exterior Behr paint. Oil primed first. So far it’s holding out. And thank you.
Fun that you dare to face some challenges, like us.:-)
Cozy when camping.

I would buy one in a heartbeat I live to ride my bike and camp I need one
It’s awesome. You can park it deep in the woods and go muddying or hunting. It’s fully insulated. I really enjoy it. 10min to set up

Anyone saying that sportsman’s are not tuff quads should be invited to watch this
tuff is not one trip tuff is 15 years and 50 000 km never change a belt like i have seen lots of Honda. yes sportsman are good just saying
