Hot Oil Treatment for DRY LOCS

Hey guys and welcome back to the channel. Your girl scalp and locs have been desert dry lately so I decided to try a hot oil treatment for the very first time! 😬 wish me luck lol

My mom used to do them on me as a kid. I've never done them in myself... but I wonder... I oil my scalp once or twice a week and do scalp massages. I leave it in. It's there a difference in doing it my way and doing it this way? Lol

Yes I always do the same but I’ve never done it this way. I think the difference is that you sit under a dryer to heat the oil up so it absorbs in your hair and scalp . I always oil my scalp but as of lately that hasn’t been helping with my dry scalp so I wanted to try the hot oil way and see if I notice a difference .

When you say it that way, it does sound like a good idea. Heat definitely helps to open up the pores and cuticles for the oil to really get in there. Thanks! I think Imma try it now 😆
